Its Brush Mtn. Lookout, not Brushy mtn. , its gonna confuse people if this isnt straightened our because Brushy mtn. Is a different peak near Hyampom southeast of there..
I entered Brushy Mountain Lookout Road in Google and the red marker indicates it is near the fire.
So wich is it ? Thanks kym !
2 different locations so far apart
I worked for the Six Rivers NF for 30 years. Its Brush mountain. Google is wrong. Here’s the info from the USFS Six Rivers site:
https://www.fs.usda.gov/detail/srnf/news-events/?cid=FSEPRD949165
I believe you. But I can’t change an official Evacuation notice. I will let the Sheriff’s Department know.
I don’t know if they will get the message this late but I tried.
The Sheriff’s Department responded. They said they got the info from USFS, if you still have contacts there, can you reach out to them and have them help sort this out?
So much information but no news. How did this fire start?
Its under investigation but its too hot to get into tbe origin area yet.
Legal grow on Friday Ridge Road.
Generator?
