CAL FIRE and partner agencies sent a large response, including air tankers and dozers, to a vegetation fire reported Tuesday afternoon.

The fire, now dubbed the Refuse Fire, was reported around 12:06 p.m. today. It is burning on state responsibility area land off Refuse Rd near Riffle Range Road, according to scanner traffic.

The Trail Fire is the largest of three vegetation fires reported in southern Lake County this afternoon.
