The #McFarlandFire has grown to 30,093 acres and is currently 21% contained. Combined with incredibly difficult and dangerous terrain, wind, and exceptionally dry fuel, firefighters continued to go direct where they could today to suppress the flame front and utilized indirect tactics where advantageous. This is a full suppression fire and firefighters will continue to do everything they can to extinguish it and protect your home, property and infrastructure. As we take a great interest in your concerns, we would like to make clear what our objectives are. First, it is to fight this fire and stop its forward progress. We are working closely with CAL FIRE and assisting agencies to accomplish this. Firefighters are working around the clock on the fire line with both day and night shifts. This is in effort to take advantage of every opportunity to extinguish this blaze. Second, due to the inversion layer we cannot safely fly and support the firefight with aerial firefighting capability unless opportunity presents itself. Our air operations section is constantly monitoring both weather, fire behavior and smoke production to take advantage of opportunities when they present. We understand that the large fires that are surrounding you can be alarming and exhausting, but please keep in mind that your safety, protection of your property, and the environment are important to us. Because of its importance, we have 695 firefighters committed to this incident. If you hear anything that you may question, please don’t hesitate to contact us at 530-330-4048 or follow InciWeb for the McFarland Fire incident. CAL FIRE Shasta-Trinity Unit

Inversion layer = no water drop.
I like how they directly addressed all the ill-informed people who were spreading rumors that feds let fires burn. YES they are working to STOP the fire and YES they are working around the clock with not only Cal Fire but tons of other agencies to accomplish this, and YES they are using aircraft when they can safely fly.
Six firefighters were injured yesterday getting burned while trying to stop the the progression of the fire.
They definitely let fires burn. Fires are a Buisness these days. We can go to space but we can’t put out fires…..dozers and planes are the answer, instead we pay thousands of men on the ground so people can have jobs.
amen…. JUST DOZER LINE AROUND THE SHIT
They definitely let fire burn. A good example of that this year would be the Tamarack fire. A tree struck by lightning that caught fire and was on a ridge top. Calfire initially dispatched engines to extinguish it but were told to turn around and go back to their stations by the feds because they deemed the fire no threat and decided to let it burn…. look how that turned out. On the Dixie fire Calfire was told not to engage the fire on Fed DPA. Same thing with the August Complex in the North Zone near Kettenpom. Calfire had to wait for the fire to get to state land before they were able to actually start fighting the fire. And remember how Ruth got torched? The frds decided to do a firing operation on a day with a wind advisory.
It makes me CRY to see the carnage when it could be prevented. Is there an agenda here?

We are being played like a fiddle. JMO
How exactly is this related to cloud seeding? We barely got any rain this year. Is this the same guy that blamed the Camp Fire on space lazers?
The military will try anything during wartime. Results of this experiment are unkown, per wiki, and likely failed. Are you a believer in chem trails?
How can you stop something that’s been happening for eons and is of such a large magnitude. It’s not possible to expect too much from the firefighters. They do the best they can.
globalist pederasses want to burn out the hillbillies and force us into “smart cities”
I say rent some dozers and protect your shit… they aren’t working the west side of the Monument fire but we should
Get out there with your crys-taahlz, and put it out.
They’re still using the “clown” dog whistle.

Is there anyone out there that has driven the route from Fortuna to Weaver recently, meaning the last two days? I would think the highways are filling up with evacuees fleeing Junction City etc. Please report if any. Im needing to drive from Eureka to Weaver and back tomorrow, the 9th. Thank you
