Strange Line of Lights in the Sky Was Reported by Multiple Readers

Multiple people reported seeing a string of strange lights convoying across the sky last night about 6:15.
One reader said, “This evening about 6:20 we were doing a little neighborhood Christmas parade and we all noticed something in the sky. There were around 30 lights that looked like satellites traveling through the sky. We were in Freshwater facing West and the lights were traveling south west to north east and were evenly spaced except for the last two, they were a little further apart.”
Another described,”Last night about 6:30, I was in my backyard, here in an unincorporated area just south of Eureka, grilling some hamburgers. While waiting for them to cook, I was gazing at the stars when I noticed something moving. There was a “convoy” of I’m not sure what, moving fairly quickly in a West to East direction. There were about 10-15 or so in this line, all equally spaced apart, except the last one. It was a bit further back. I didn’t hear any noise, so I guess that were pretty high up.”
A northern Mendocino reader wrote that she saw the lights “around 6:15 till about 630 a string of lights in the sky that look like satellites but they were moving the coordination space exactly apart moving very fast with exact spacing on heading east, it went on for 10 minutes…could’ve been 40 of them…[W]e lost count about 30 totally silent… .”
Though we don’t know for sure, most likely they were from Elon Musk’s space launch program in which a series of satellites travel across the sky.
On the night of the 22nd, others back east reported seeing a similar incident and last night there were sightings from Michigan to San Francisco. Those lights have been identified as satellites from Elon Musk’s SpaceX company.
So, not UFO’s…not stars in flight…not even Santa’s reindeer out for a test run…but a line of man-made contraptions designed to, among other things, increase broadband capabilities.

I didn’t see those light’s but last Monday I saw one of those light’s following one of our airplanes,,and it was day time,, didn’t know what it was or what it could be except for a UFO

Ok me and my family,my wife and four kids were outside 4-18-20 about right when the sun went down about 9.30 here in midland Michigan holy shit it was the craziest thing I’ve ever witnessed.we were in the back yard about to go inside cuz it got dark and i look Up Nd i see Something like a satellite flying by. But then there was another and anther and another and another one. I told My family to look up there was a whole line of these things flying by in formation in perfect formation they all kept the same distance.my kids got so scared it was awesome. This all went on for about 15 min in a line flying by there had to been about 100 of those things.
We seen the same thing last night 4-19-20 in Augres Michigan. Started seeing them around 9:30ish. Counted over 50 of them flying same exact direction

Tonight in Maryland around 11:15 it looks like there is light in the sky resembling a gigantic letter M. Two identical Vs directly next to one another.
Saw them around the Sturgeon Bay, WI area around 9:20 pm. While my son and I where fishing, my son asked what the heck is that. We both watch them move from west to East. Pretty cool.

My wife and I observed the string of lights in Kenton, Tennessee at about 9:15 p.m. May 5th 2021. They moved from west to east in single file in the northern part of the sky. After they all disappeared another one appeared and was moving from the northwest to the southeast and disappeared just as it crossed over our house. Strange I say !

I saw the “line” of lights, May 6th 2021, sometime after dark, maybe between 8 – 9:30 PM, going west to east. The weren’t in a perfect line but were sort of staggered. There must have been 20 – 30 of them. I am in Waldron, AR, and they were north of me. I don’t have an SLR camera so I didn’t attempt to take any pics as they’d be too fuzzy with phone cam or Cyber Shot.
I saw them last night 4-24-2020 northwest of Scottsbluff Ne.

St Louis Mo 9:40 pm just saw them flying east northeast. It was a line of about 10. The leader was dimmer than the rest. Ran inside to get my family to see and they were gone in less than a minute. Saw what looked like a shooting star a minute later heading in the same direction.
Same here in Northbrook, Illinois 60062! Tonight 04-26-2020 at the same time (9:20p), not sure the count, but over 20, spaced equadistant from each other, traveling at a quick pace, faster than a satelite, high in the sky from the northwest to southeast. Took a few minutes for them all to pass. NO sound! Just a string of white lights and then they disappeared. Never seen anything like it. Also saw what looked like a shooting star a minute later but from northeast to southwest and looked like flame/ burned up in the end.

I just saw the line of satellites in Bayfield, CO. They were heading Southeast around 9pm. I thought they were UFOs until we looked it up.
Northern Minnesota – About 30+ flying over head at an extremely fast rate at about 10:00 PM, in equal distance from each other going south/west to north/east. It lasted about 20 minutes or so. Two at the end of it broke away and started flying outward.

We are in SW Iowa and we also saw them tonight Dec 4,2020 around 6:30. There was 13 of them and was only able to see them for a few minutes. Didn’t know what they were until I googled it. Then watched news at 10 and they said had calls wanting to know what they were.

I’m in albuquerque and at 10pm I saw the string of lights as well. They lasted in the sky for a few minutes going north west to south east.
I’m in Nacogdoches Texas and me and my whole trailer park saw and carefully counted 89 perfectly formatting lites moving around 300 mph in perfect formation followed by a blinking strangler 😎 lol approximately 2 thousand yard’s behind controlling the back of these flying objects. I saw the same thing at approximately 9:30 pm 5-5-2021 in extreme western Ky right on TN state line about 2 miles from Mississippi river. Perfectly straight line of lights pretty evenly spaced that were moving West to East and located North of my position. I counted 50ish but that wasn’t all of them.

Seen a strange string of lights pass over Summersville West Virginia yesterday evening May 7, 2021 at approximately 9:30 PM there were a few clouds that covered some of them up but when they all came out from under the cloud cover we could see them they were in perfect formation, Some were single and a few of them actually had lights side-by-side. At the very end was a single brighter light that floated around in different directions and sort of went out. I do not believe That these lights had anything to do with China’s rocket that exploded in space. But somebody knows what they were?!

i saw the same thing easter morning between 4:00 and 6:00 am going across Sky valley Stevens Pass highway State Route 2 Washington ,Goldbar were i live perfectly clear Sky there must have been 100 to 200 of them one after another in perfect order about 1/4 mile apart this went on for over an hour around 4:00 to daylight just before 6:00 am it really freaked me out , earlier on the news they showed Sea Tac airport had been closed down for days because of the Corona virus so these were obviously not planes

Me and my son watched about a dozen of them fly overhead tonight from Grand Rapids. A little after 10 PM. I’ve never seen anything like it. The sky was completely clear. We watched them for about 10 seconds and then they all vanished. They were in a straight line heading West to East.

I saw five round circles in a line. I looked at it for about 5 mins.. I was thinking how strange, I’ve never seen stars that straight. And they were no more than a mile away with a blink of an eye. I said WTH. Blink and they are closer half a mile. I blink again and it was in a teepee shape and there was a blue light on the inside of the shape. I kept looking and the shape started moving backwards, i kept looking, BAM it disappeared from my sight. It was over within 10 mins.. I sat there for another 10 mins.. Thinking that I was the luckiest person to have seen that. I was in Lawton, Oklahoma in the summer of 2001

Wednesday 2 December 2020 my son and I were camping at O’Neil park in Orange county ca. At about 5:55pm when we witness a fleet of about a hundred lights traveling south to north in a perfect bee line.It looked like a pearl necklace.That was a unusual sight for sure.

Same thing just happened in southern minnesota. About a line of 60-80 flew past in 2 groups all in a pattern of 1 light then 2 light.
May 16 2021 at about 4 am on my ride home I seen easily a couple hundred of these lights. there was no patterns they were just jumbled together in a line in the north sky just above the horizon traveling from the west to the east then all of a sudden they were gone. What the hell did I see?

I remember it was in Northampton it was a bright light coming from the mountains towards my dad when he was cleaning I was outside and we did not make any noise and it didn’t cover that high it was kind of low enough to see coming towards me and all the sudden the light just opened and closed up and disappeared as I left and my dad a light came back on open the sky in which following us back home the Chicopee Massachusetts and I’ll send it it was gone

Exactly what I thought. Then found out it was Space X Starlink Satellites new global internet system in process. I was in Arizona when I saw them on 4/22/2020. I freaked at first, then finally got on the net and found out what was going on; not so scary after all.

Early this morning at 4:20 a.m. I was out front sitting on the bench just staring into the sky and I noticed 4 illuminated round objects traveling from south to North information and then they changed their pattern. I couldn’t hear anything it was totally silent and the one in the back was moving around the others and then I lost them behind the trees.
I live in Germany. My husband and I were sitting outside with our neighbors last night and we saw this same thing at 2240 Central European Time! I have video but it’s night video captured on my phone.
Very odd lights appearing from SW heading NW- moving fairly quick. This went on for about 10-15 minutes.

Hi, I saw the same tonight at 21:30 flying from roughly 230 degrees South West and heading 90 degrees East. They looked like bright stars all heading in the same direction, all evenly spaced apart from the last few out of I would say 30+
A couple of aircraft also in the sky but flying lower than usual, especially as most aircraft are grounded due to the Corona Virus situation. This lasted for I would say 20 to 30 minutes.

Well I and a friend have been seeing same string of stars at about 11:15 pm and early hours of morning 4:57 am well spaces apart moving at the same velocity here in Minna, Niger State, Nigeria.
I’m in NW Oregon, me and my daughter are still seeing them and it’s been going for about 20 minutes straight, but now they seem higher up then when we first saw them.

Me and my boyfriend saw a huge flying something shaped like the capital letter H and had separate colored windows going across colors in each window were pink in one with dow green red blue in other windows had flames shooting from rear end and was flying leaning towards the right with belly up I still ask myself and boyfriend did we really see it
Just saw the same thing and the line of lights went on for about 9 mins in Las Vegas moving south west by north west. The lights in front would seem to disappear and another would appear in the back of the line. 9:05pm to 9:14pm PST on May 5, 2021.

they are satilities form SpaceX’s StarLInk constellation formations. They have launched 4 major bunches and the website above will take your location and tell you the best time to see them over your location. The live map on it is awesome.
When we first saw them, it was creepy, but we did the research and oufn out what they are. Today, April 20, they had a launch scheduled from Florida of more.

9:10 pm We just saw appr. 40 lights evenly spaced moving west to east. It was amazing to see. At the end there were two side by side and then they were gone. I love it!!!!! But I don’t know what I was looking at.

Wow I was outside a few minutes ago (app 9:30 PM, Tyler, TX) looking to the northwest sky. Saw three small lights that appeared to be relatively dim stars. They were not flashing or changing intensity. They were moving southeast, toward me. They were about equally spaced in a line with a gap between them that would have to be maybe something like a few miles if they were at 60000 ft. As they moved they started to do like a twisting rotation, the lead going to the left , the middle held straight and the third to the right. This motion lasted no more than maybe two seconds, then they dimmed and disappeared in about a second .
First time in my 62 years of life I’ve seen something like this I would consider totally inexplicable.
04/27/2020 @ 10:00 P.M. in Delta, UT. I had similar questions when I saw similar descriptions stated here. Satellites can travel at enormous speed in the space because the lack of oxygen, gravity, and extremely low temperature. Lights traveling 10 times faster than airplanes at an altitude between private and commercial air space aren’t satellites, unless SpaceX’s satellites are equipped to disregard the laws of gravity. Also, I am still thinking, what could we make in that nature possibly disappear one-by-one when reaching the same exact location? Not even drones are capable of such thing. I’m not saying they’re UFOs, but they ain’t satellites either, unless SpaceX’s is secretly working with invisible-man.
I dont buy it. Yeah, Musk may have satellites..but the string i saw had independent movement. There were lights moving toward the string at a faster pace, from the rear..that then joined the convoy. The lights were grouped in twos and threes..like the threes were a larger craft being protected by the twos. Since it was dark i couldn’t see shapes of any kind.but i know they were moving with intention..not stagnate.

Around 21:00 CEST for about quarter of an hour several dozen of objects flew over Poland lat/lon 53.034300 23.611943 from West to East. Most of them flew in line and keeping the same distance one after another. What is going on?
yeah its weird because my brother saw it too in BELGIUM i think all of you guys saw it in america

I saw none! So the line of objects I saw 3 hours before I highly doubt has anything to do with Starlink satellites. I do not belive UFO, then what is next reasonable thing is planes… but in so high quantities and keeping that formation – most obvious for me is military ones.
What could be a reason for it ?
There is another explanation for it. What I notice on the website https://www.satflare.com/track.asp?q=starlink#TOP is that after these satelites do full turn their trajectory is moved by some offset to the south west. This could explain why I saw the same density group 3 hours before and not the 2nd time.

Was in my front yard and I saw a light traveling 50 faster then any jet Ive seen and not a second later another one followed the first, then 5 seconds later, 2 identical lights traveling the same speeds went in opposite directions. Last night I saw a semi big white ball appear over my apt complex with a small tail and 2 seconds after I saw it, it disappeard..completely..that was a meteor right lmao

The strange lights pictures that i took,goes up and down, side ways, and has a tail. No satelite does nor do that ,that i know of.

Yes the same, I live in Burlington Canada. I was walking my dog when I saw those line of lights aligned moving in the same direction one behind the other. I counted more than ten. It was around 9:20 pm
April 20th Missoula Montana traveling east to west must have been over a hundred I watched it for over an hour what in the world is going on noticed at 9 o clock like military Precision spaced equally apart and in 20 or 30 second intervals I noticed them while sitting at the campfire looking up into the night sky I could not miss them they were passing right over my head at a very high altitude

My husband and I live in Michigan,USA and we watched it too tonight after 9 p.m. April 19, 2020. One Star “like” movement after another equally apart in a line. Heading north east. There was no sound. We went inside to get on phones to record but my light went on and didn’t get it. I saw a string of lights April 19, 2020 about 9:20 to 9:30 pm EST. They were traveling in a SW to NE direction. I counted over 15. If it was the Elon Musk satellites I must have caught the tail end of them. Very unusual.

I’ve just seen the same thing in London 6.20am these were flying in a perfectly straight line flying in twos around 50 metres apart, all on the exact same path in a perfectly straight line but not equally distanced some pairs were faster, some were closer….
Strange how these lights are all in formation going exact same speed and direction being seen since Covid-19 outbreak first reported in 2019. Are we to believe it’s a coincidence we are told to stay indoors!! Or are our Government’s trying to hide an alien invasion, so that for us to react will be too late.

I saw them tonight in Wilmington DE. I counted 50 of them but there were more in front of the 50 I counted. Strangest thing I ever saw. They were for the most part equally spaced but the last two in groupings were closer to each other than the others. I thought I saw some move out of formation and then back into formation.
Me and wife sitting in back yard just saw 15 plus lights equal distance north to south over belton , texas the weriod part is all disappeared at the same point with zero clouds in the sky

Saw them over Lancaster, PA. around 8:30pm going south-east Tuesday April 28th 2020!! I instantly thought satilites until I started counting them. Then I thought it was a covert military mission due to a few shifting out of formation and back!! Lol….
So my husband thinks I’m crazy about this but we just saw the same thing here in Zephyrhills Florida at 9:30 at night EST. About 20-30 lights in perfect line appeared and then disappeared. He swears they are planes but there is no way. Anyone know what it is???

Me and a couple of friends just saw the same lights a couple of hours ago. The lights were equally spaced apart and they look like stars. We knew they wasn’t planes because they were too high and their lights don’t blink. They also move faster than planes and once they get to a certain point they vanish.

I saw about 15 on like lights traveling over the buildings in Boston last night. Clear as day. They were floating in a cluster formation all traveling in same direction but by time I got camera out to video they were long gone
i just saw something very much the same here in central carolina tonight at least 30 in a row no sound perfect straight line evenly spaced
Seen those same lights in a row. Didn’t count but 30-40 or so light red tint. But after 5 min or so all the lights that were in perfect straight line suddenly broke away at a high rate of speed, all in equal and opposite rates of speed and direction. And to sit here and read that so many others have seen this.

Yes indeed it was…..I saw it April 16…..at 4 :18 am….it was like a ghost ship…….the dude came at me………..floated towards me….he so has a beam……………….it more like a horizontal light saber about 25-30 feet long….i know i was supposed to go with him…..nevertheless i became frightened and ran back in the house….the ship was ethereal cloud white about 40 foot long and there is usually about eight beings with him riding around. next time i will be leaving with them and Trev also gonna get in and fly with him.

Just saw them at 830-900ish mar 27 2020 west to east direction shortly following this (5mins later still looking in the skythere was 3 in the sky’s view flying by but each going there own directions at times there would be 2 in a row together one way and a single one below going the other while seconds later from above one comes down the other direction. Not sure what to think def looked similar to an air plane light but no blinking lights. There has been probably as many planes flying over tonight as well with blinking lights some had to be lower then others with way brighter lights. Is this the normal sky traffic or satellite all over the place. How many planes would u typically see fly over head in a short amount of time ??at a time like this and corona virus pandemic spreading more and more everyday I thought we are on lock down persay are flights that many around the world seems like a lot taveling going on closing borders and social distancing. May not apply not sure!!! Do these satellite have a turn around time like every 1 we I’ll see them pass bay and what about the others moving all over the sky’s

My son and I are seeing fast moving start like lights moving one after another. Each at equal distance apart. They start really bright, looks like they are dropping from something then move very fast. They are following in a straight line about miles apart from one another. Then they disappear. We started seeing this about 20 min ago and it’s still happening. I tried to get it on my phone but my phone won’t focus that far. They seem really high and far but it’s amazing. We live In Annapolis Maryland.

I’m in Sacramento and I was outside taking my dog for a piss break. I happened to look up. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing. About a dozen or so lights moving West to East. Then a convoy of lights followed. Moving really fast!
I’m in Spain and have literally been sat with my nephew watching the same thing.. 17/4/2020 22.17 until 22.38 we saw a group of moving starlights moving west to east at 1st, travelling at what seems the same velocity holding a equal distance from each other at high speed,, followed by others all travelling in lines of 3 and 2 we went to the roof top and kept watching and called a few people we know to go outside their houses to see if they saw and they all witnessed themselves, we watched as the travelled across the night sky changing directions speeds splitting directions,, we saw them traveling in all directions some without seeming to turn just a 90°change, these were not satellites or space stations nor planes or choppers(also far too high) ,, We, re in Quarantine aswel. Military drones not even! And to now see this has been witnessed previously and recently elsewhere in the world. I captured a few photos though they show the sky with light dashes in a line.
Saw 30 or so, headed north-northeast. They were spaced roughly 10 seconds apart. It was 915pm here in Portland, OR.

No, satellites don’t blink. Too high for commercial navigation, so no need. There are hundreds up in the summer sky if you lay back and just look up for an extended period of time on a cloudless night, you will spot them, as they move quite fast across from horizon to horizon. Use to spot a lot of them from the bench on the end of our dock at our lake cabin.
Same here in Baker City, same time, not sure the count, but way over 20 of them, traveling fast west to east spaced several miles apart. Took a few minutes for all to pass, and near the end were 2 fairly close, one off to the side of the other and behind, and most all in one trajectory line. A few just south of the main line interspaced, all equidistance apart. NO sound! Just white lights, no flashing red as operational jet lights do.
Seen the same thing at the same time in Calgary, Canada.
The flash occurs when the satellite rotates and reflects sunlight.

I think we saw the same thing! Seemed that all these stars were moving in a current that crossed the whole sky, I was looking all the way up and the stars were moving from my left to my right. They looked like stars. One star and then following a couple inches behind it another and some in groups and it just kept going for 20 minutes! Irregularly spaced apart, as if it were a fleet of sea turtles gliding along in a current together. Absolutely magical.

Saw the same train of satellites in Tempe, AZ. A dozen+ approx. 20deg apart. Saw several additional satellites moving parallel approx. 5-10deg to the east of the main path.
This is exactly what I saw in Las Vegas at 8:20-840. They looked very high in the sky. All going the same direction but not in an exact line. Must have been 30+ planes/satellites/UFO… something. I heard it might be space X starlink program bit it looked military to me.

I just saw them in Fort Myers, FL Sunday morning, May 17, b/t 5:30 – 5:45 AM. Dozens of lights in formations of 2 or 3, NOT in a single, straight line. All were moving together at the same speed/distance to each other, travelling SW to E.

We just saw these tonight we counted 36, SW to NE at first I saw one and thought cool space station, then I saw a second one and thought oh cool Russians supply ship is un docked and is trailing behind and coming back down after delivering new astronaut s nope they just kept coming. I watch the sky almost every night and never have seen this. Surprise Az 4-17-2020 8:00-8:15 ish.
I saw the same thing on April 18, 2020 in Scottsdale, AZ. Out for a walk and my daughter told me a star was moving and we couldn’t believe what we were seeing. I saw over 30, and then the following night I saw 3. I have never seen anything like this and I don’t think they were satellites. Looks like people are seeing these everywhere.
Same here in East Windsor, NJ, walking my dog this morning and at 4:17am I saw about 10-12 star like lights following close and last two lagging. They moved faster than any jet I have ever seen. I am so glad that others have seen these…sorry Elon, I don’t believe that.
We saw 15 – 30(+?) individual white lights moving in a perfect straight line formation, single file spaced intermittently in groups anywhere from three to 8 or even 10, flying in a straight line rapidly from West towards East over Galt California on June 18th 2020 at roughly 4:18 in the morning, visually estimated to be as high as a typical passenger plane (but could have been larger than i think and much higher, as they went east they made it a good distance before suddenly disappearing) stretching possibly at least a quarter mile in length from first object to the last, (or possibly much longer depending on the actual elevation) there was no deviation in flight path as it disappeared to the sky in the east, all within less than a minute.

Saw the same thing from the Klamath River Mountains outside of Happy Camp… 915ish. We counted 40+ “satallites” or high flying aircraft traveling north approx 50-100 miles east of us. Most were evenly spaced and same exact trajectory.
I live near Monmouth OR. Last night at about 9 PM saw 50+ evenly spaced lights passing south to north.
Evening of 16/04/2020. Crystal clear night, low humidity. 12 miles outside Ava, MO 9:30 to 9:40. Traveling from SW to NE, evenly separated about 10 degrees from each other. Intensity about that of small stars. Moving fast. Quit counting after 20. Figured they were (are) comm satellites. Pretty neat.
My dad called me at about 9:45pm this evening to tell me that him and my brother saw about 30-40 of these UFOs trailing very fast in a line together, then the rows of two and three trailing each other. They live in Medford Oregon. I’m about and hour and a half north of them in Roseburg. When I went out side, I spotted one heading Southwest to Northeast. Then one came after that one, and another and so on. I counted about 15 before heading back inside. They were following the same pattern in the sky and coming and going from the same direction. Strange…
Live in Collingwood, Ontario, Canada. Clear, starry night. 10 pm EST, tonight (April 18/20) saw a string of lights (about 30 of them). At first my wife and I thought it was a satellite, but then there was a second and then a third. They just kept coming. All moving in a NNE direction and in a straight line. About 10 to 15 seconds apart. Then they disappeared!
We’re also in chino, az and saw the lights. Counted over 40 over about 20 minutes or so

Tonight, April 18th 2020, I was out with my dog about 915 pm. I looked upto the sky and I counted 26 jets or something flying in a straight line each one, it looked like maybe a half mile distance in between one another. I live north of Kansas City Mo about 40 miles. These were flying in a northeast direction. Could this be commercial jets being moved around?
I just had the exact thing that happened to me at 9:00 tonight. There were about 20 of them. It was consistent. My fiancé and our friend saw it also. I didn’t know what it was and I looked it up and I’m so happy that other people have witnessed this also.

We saw them tonight in Kentucky. Freaked me out to be honest, about 30 of them more spaced apart than the photo. Tried to video them but didn’t pick up the light. One would come into field of vision then another a few seconds later the first ones would disappear as another one was visible.
Saw then around 945 pm in Calhoun Ga. They would come into view and you could track them across the sky but at a certain point they just vanish. I’m thinking the reflection off their solar panels is what you see. When they get to a certain point you loose the reflection and their gone.

Nezperce, Idaho 5:10 am Easter Morning(April 12, 2020). Dogs got me up, looked at Moon and noticed a formation of what I thought was 5 aircraft. Then noticed another trailing behind and another evenly spaced. 50+ more. 1/2 hour of watching. Some side by side. NW to SE direction. Tried to video and photograph but no success. Had to wake up husband just to verify I wasn’t imagining. Thanks to Google and all of you, think I found my answer!
Went to the hot tub at 5am in Springfield OR. Sunday morning and was looking up and saw between 50-75 over the 30 min. It was very interesting. So you were seeing the same ones as I had.

I just saw these pearly clusters in Kingman , AZ. April 15 2020 around 10:15. I counted 39 traveling SW to NE. Never seen this before. Then several more off to the west a little but still going NE. I counted 52 total. What is this beauty?

I’m in north central Alabama I witnessed the exact same thing they were to high and to fast for any ordinary aircraft and seam to be leaving the atmosphere and disappearing into space there is no way that it could have been satellites if anyone has any other logical explanation to what this could have been I’d love to hear it
April 14 saw line over South LA moving West to East spaced about 20 seconds apart.
I was out with my pet and star gazing when I saw this same thing here in southeast Alabama tonight,, 8:15. At least 30 all going east. One was slightly larger than the rest. Some were closer together. Would really like to know what they are.
I’m in Sequim, Washington. It’s almost 6 am. I took my dog out about 30, mins ago and saw several of them. Some were going in a south Eastern direction. A few went in a Northwest direction. It was odd. But they weren’t close together. They were space out. It kind of freaked me out so I hurried with my dog and got back inside

I saw in Washington, DC around 9:00 PM.
We just witnessed 50 or more of these craft flying in a line and disappearing into the same spot in the sky. They seem to be able to move together and apart. Most of them were equally distanced. But often we saw two together. We could not hear any sound. We saw no flashing aircraft lights. What are these things? We are in Charlotte county Florida, on the gulf coast. we sit out in our hot tub almost every night. We’ve done this in Illinois, California, and now Florida. We see a lot of night sky. We’ve never seen anything like this before. What is it? After they disappeared, we saw two satellites tracking along a similar path but distanced from the east on one in the west on the other. Are we tracking this phenomenon?
I saw these lights evenly spaced traveling Northwest to Southeast at 9:30 PM. I counted 27 of them.

I saw that same string of lights last night around 9:25 p.m.. They were way up high traveling very fast from the west going east with no sound. The last one traveled off course going from west to east and then suddenly shooting off to the north. It was exciting to see. I’m in Sheridan, Wyoming and this was amazing to see.

I’m in southeast Iowa and seen some bright street of lights one after another and way more plane activitie than normal. I would say it was around 9 pm or so but before all that a extremely close meteor had blown apart right under or above it all
SE Iowa, as well. My wife and I saw 30 lights around 8:15p to 8:30p, 3/28/2020, none were flashing. Not sure I saw the first one or the last one. Two were traveling side by side and the rest were in a row all heading in a ENE direction. Later at home, I looked up from my yard and saw five more. Two together and the rest by themselves all going in different directions but these kept disappearing. Pretty cool, I thought. I saw planes with flashing lights at the same time so I’m pretty sure these weren’t planes.

Just saw your exact descriptions here in Manitoba Canada…never ever have I seen anything like this before! As you said during a time as we are in, living in the midst of a pandemic to look at the stars and watch this anomaly…well it makes you wonder wtf is really happening?
My neighbor, Derek, came over and got me about 9:00 p.m. Sunday the 22nd to verify that He and his wife were seeing weird lights from their porch. It took me a minute to focus on them, but there were definitely 6 to 8 bright lights following each other from North West to South East, directly over our heads, Layton, Utah, but were stretched out. They were followed by 3 more, but they were blinking and broke off to directly more South. I don’t think the UFO’s were affected by the Corona Virus(Corvid 19) but maybe they were delivering it, so they could inhabit EARTH. (Yes I’m a Trekky!!)
Saw them last night 03 30 20 around 8 46 PM in pg county maryland. Went outside for a smoke and I see this. Stargazing is something I enjoy but this was extremely odd cause I’m familiar with the drones that fly at night and I know the constellations over me however this I’ve never seen before. I was lucky to get 3 pictures and on the 3rd they began to scatter in random directions.

I saw them April 1 really high in the sky coming from the west heading east in Belvidere ,Tennessee at 10:07pm central time then the front dot went to the right to a star and stopped then one by one both sets were gone it lasted for about 22min for them to disappear
I’m in England and have seen this twice now around December and of last year and around mid March this year.
Hey I just saw about 20 separate lights in the sky, each seemingly following or headed east. They seemed to be an equal distance from each other. Last week I saw the same type of thing although I only counted about 5-6. But tonight they just keep coming, what are they? Since the beginning of March I have seen similar occurrences, which are increasing. Does anyone know what is going on the in sky lately? I know they are not planes and I highly doubt they are drones or satellites, so what the heck?
Where are you located? Im in Idaho and I just seen all those lights in a row moving fast across the sky, counted 40-50 off them spaced apart, some even broke formation and went south or north…I started drinking them about 9-9:30 pm until about 10pm or so

Last year I was outside and saw a bright light flying between 2 stars, when it reached the 2nd star it came back towards the first star really fast.

My family and I Just saw them in GA . About 30 miles south east of Atlanta.
I saw the same thing but they either came in pares of two or one slightly in front of the other but this was at 5 the were going west to east I saw 10 to 12 of them overall and all of them came from slightly different directions but they all went toward the moon and this was last night and it’s April 14t

I saw the lights also me and my granddaughter at 11:45pm on 5/6/2021 in alpena MICHIGAN ABOUT 40 LIGHTS IN A LINE GOING LIKE A CARAVAN ACROSS THE SKI.
I saw them too they were headed East north East at a good click the last two or so were out of line but could have been thirty or so time was about 930 pm the first one seen me and flashed a light at me is that possible if they noticed me noticing them .

I’m from Alabama and for the past two nights,we’ve been watching them. To be honest, it’s a very scary sight. It makes you wonder if someone is in that light and they can see and hear us. I saw these lights this morning around 5:45 am in Indiana Pennsylvania and thought it was strange
My wife and I saw over 50, same description in a straight line equidistant except for one running parallel to another and one further back going SW to NE about 8:00pm. My guess was airlines repositioning their fleet. Too low for satellites I would think. Several appeared to lower their elevation and the light got a lot brighter then resumed their normal course. Strange.
I saw about 35/40 around 12:00/12:30 last night here in Fairfield Calif. flying in same west to east direction and all spaced apart the same. What the “F” is going on with this? So many diff. nights, so many of them.

Yepp, I saw the same thing tonight right after dark. I’m in Southern Ohio as well. But I lost count at 40 or 50. It was freaking me out. One after another equally spaced apart like they were marching. Some seem to brighten up every once in awhile and then diminish back to a faint white light. If this is satellites why do they light up and why can we see them. I know you can see the space station. Some times but it has to be way bigger then these things…… also I seen them right around 8:30pm
On March 24, at 06:05 CST I saw a string of lights flying West/Southwest to East/Northeast. There were about fifty of them. I live in West Monroe, Louisiana. I have never seen anything like it. They seemed to appear out of no where and then fly in a line and disappear in the northeast sky. This was crazy. Satellites ? Huh If they are it is really weird.

I witnessed these lights last night. I’m in Minden, Louisiana. It was around 9 pm and lasted until 9:30 ish. Probably saw 25 to 30 of em. Same as other people reported….traveling from west to north east , majority of em on the same course, evenly spaced apart and what appeared to be the same speed. There were a few that appeared that were not in the same line but were traveling in the same direction and speed as the others. The first one that caught my eye had me thinking satellite but I have never seen such a “parade” of satellites. The space link thing makes sense if that is indeed what I saw.?
Me and 5 others in KY saw about 60 all spaced out except the last 3 or 4 which shone brighter and they were traveling Southwest about 25 thousand ft high around 9 pm March 23 2020
We saw exactly the same thing tonight. We live in Oregon, out in the country, so we got a good view of them. From the time we noticed them, we counted about 35 to 40 lights, and like others have said, they appeared to be perfectly spaced apart, and in the same direction – west to east. One of the last ones appeared to flare brightly for about a second and a half. What in the world? Have to say, kind of creeped us out! If anyone finds out what they are, please post, so we can all know.

Went out for a smoke, of pure boredom i looked up on the clear sky and noticed 7-8 objects perfectly spaced inbetween eachoters and was moving at the same speed with no sound or blinking lights, you should see my face xD my jaw dropped..so i belive that i didnt see whole thing but i was cool anyway to see the half of it 😉

I easily saw about 30 of them in Cologne, Germany on March 16, 2020 sometime after the democratic debate, probably between 3 and 4 am. Lisa, I saw exactly what you saw….all of them spaced pretty equally apart and 2 of them REALLY close together. P.S. I am from a little town in southern MN called LeRoy. Many times a year growing up we made the 6 hour drive up to Grand Rapids to see the grandparents, and I was always excited to get to Rogers because we would always stop there for treats! We just watched approximately 30 ‘star like’ lights traveling quickly across the sky near Reno, NV at 8:30 PM. Most fascinating thing I’ve ever seen in the dark skies! Wish my cell phone video could have picked it up!
I just counted 100 of these traveling lights moving west to east at 8:30 p.m. on 21 March 2020. I even called up the Air National Guard to see if anything came up on their radar screen. I was told no, but he would contact the tower.
Just saw 30 of them moving West to east at 9:17pm cst over southern Wisconsin. All equally spaced with one offset between #12 and #13 and again one offset between #19 and #20.
April 16, 2020. Tulsa Oklahoma sighting at around 9:30 PM. This sighting of apparently high altitude fast moving and evenly spaced aircraft flying in a SW to NE path. At least count of 15 or so but may have not seen the beginning of the train.

I’m in Ohio…saw them tonight around 1015 EST while on phone with my sister. Straight line of 40 lights moving north to south at a steady pace for about 30 seconds before disappearing…not fading. Be interesting if someone could take all these comments and put together a timeline of sightings. Not really a UFO believer but if definitely satellites, should be able to substantiate their movement around the planet.
Saw them tonight 26 April 20 at 9:30 in Davenport Iowa
Last night at approximately 11.30 until 11.45 I saw three distinct lines going across the night’s sky. They were not made up of stars( dots) but were more like a laser ray. At first I thought they might be vapor trails somehow illuminated by stars, but then they continued without fading or spreading out. It lasted for about 15 to 20 minutes, during this time I observed how the lines appeared to move up and down, almost like a heavenly dance. Here in Vienna, Europe there are hardly any passenger planes flying because of the Corona lockdown…. I wondered if they were planes, but couldn’t see any red landing control lights. Really felt as if this was something exceptional, called my son to have a look. He also saw them and was also without a logical explanation. We thought they may be satellites but usually these show up as single light bodies. These were indisputable lines. They were traveling from N.W to S.E and filled the whole panorama of sky. It was not possible to pick it up on my iPhone, as too far away. At about 12. 00 am I went out to look again….this phenomenon had completely disappeared. No vapor from planes, no distance lights….. what on earth was this?

Approx 915 pm – Suburban Philadelphia – Approximately 50 sighted, straight line, no noise.
My oldest son and I were sitting by our bonfire in our backyard and just saw this strange occurrence about 9:15 PM here in Belleville, Illinois, which is right over the river from St. Louis, Missouri. He noticed it first, and it freaked us out, as we had never seen/heard anything about this phenomenon before. We called my husband outside to see it and then started Googling to see if we could find out more about it, and thus, we landed on this page. Glad to see that others observed the same thing and to gain insight on the sighting.

Just seen them here in Escanaba Mich. last night at 11.10 . I must have only caught the end I counted like 18 .
I saw the bee line of 50 air crafts last week around 9:00pm while walking.
Stopping to observe it was noted they came from a north west direction traveling south east toward the Daytona beach shores.
There were 8-10 crafts with a single light, the next craft had 2 lights . . then approx. 10 craft single . light, then one . . light, etc.
However, the very last craft in the long line of crafts was out of line flying ‘ instead . . . . ‘

i saw the lights red as mine others has stated .around 6;30 eight or so came over . and i thought maybe burnt out. yet watching the sky a moment longer .i two other objects spaced about the distance apart as were the red lights. looked to be balloons of the weather balloon type .silky looking. each one about tree top high or more floating pass same speed as the red light were .so there you have it .[ i have no rhyme nor idea what hell that stuff is and who is doing that what i seen is not a saddlery type light as pop would say]

I saw them tonight in stamford Connecticut around 9:15pm. It looked like there were about 60 or 100 of them they were all almost perfectly spaced and moving from one side of the sky to the next. Don’t believe everything you read on the internet. No one has mentioned the second set about 5 minutes later that came from the Northwest going to the Southeast. One broke formation and went through the handle of the Big Dipper. So should you believe your eyes or the internet?
I member in Northampton Massachusetts it was a light hovering above the cabinet where my dad was cleaning I was outside and I was saying it was so big it didn’t make no noise and all the sudden the light it just closed up and then disappeared after that me and my dad left the place in Northampton I believe in I feel bad it’s back in the sky the light opened up it was following us to Chicopee Massachusetts and our family and it disappeared and I was looking on the porch is coming from the mountains and the light was so big I said it was open and then it closed

Dan, I had that happen once, figured out that automatic updates for different devices was the culprit. My in-laws came to visit, 3 iPhones in 72 hours wiped me out. We make sure everyone turns off WiFi when they visit. I saw one auto update for my Macbook that was over 2Gb once, I now manually do my updates when I am in town.
I don’t have any automatic updates I keep them manual to avoid s(h)ituations such as that!!! I don’t own or most times want to own a Cell Phone & my kid updates his in town!!! No in-laws using my WiFi either so???? But hank for the attempted explanation!!!

Went outside and looked up to see Venus, which was very bright in the night sky. Noticed one or two ‘stars’ travelling in the same direction and then one moved back on itself? It was joined with another that travelled as a pair, and then they were joined by about 30 all in quick succession. Like mentioned before apart from the last one, which was further back. This was over Northern Ireland at about 18:20.

I didn’t see the light like the ones described and shown in these images, but I did see 5 or 6 tonight, in a square in the sky, with another above. Kinda looked like a bright, and super close big dipper. Then one at a time they all went off in the same direction. The whole process took 15 minutes or so.
At first I though they were Chinese lanterns, but only one moved at a time and the others stayed in the same position.
Was not possible to gage the distance. I am around Belleville, and they were west of us here. I am not the only one who saw them. My friend tried to get a picture from her phone but they didn’t show up on the picture. 🙁
Why wasn’t there any news about this that night?
I’m in The Netherlands and just saw them! They started around 5:55p.m. and had all passed by 6:10p.m. The ones I saw were spaced a little more evenly and there was one or two sets of them side by side. I also saw airplanes, two, passed beneath them. The airplanes were blinking and the string of moving “lights” were not. They passed by quite smoothly and fast. I had no idea what it was and so, here I am. It was cool to see. Very cool.
4.11 am euroa , north east vic Australia we just saw lights in alignment slowly crossing sky evenly spaced and all had the exact same start point . At the same time there were shooting stars from every angle of the sky. We counted 35 with the last two out of of formation we woke our family up to come see we all stood in awe of the sky not knowing what it was .. I started searching the internet for any kind of chatter to make any sort of sense out of it and finally found this thread …. Happy for the answer but I’m still convinced it could have been the death star :p sending love from down under with this cool Mexican wave of lights hitting each city!!!
I saw more than 50 stars like thing moving in the sky in a straight line. I don’t know what was that can you please clarify this?

I saw this last night there was about 20 light moving on a straight line and didnt know what was it!!
Saw an Elongated line of 9 or more Starlink Satalites travelling SW to NE directly above the North Island of New Zealand last Tuesday night at around 9:45pm NZT.
At a Very low orbit and it was just like someone ran a commercial across the pristine sky.

Around the same time, rather unobtrusively, and at a much higher orbit, a single satalite went West to East and another, higher still, South to North.

Yes. I was traveling in NZ in January last year and was taking a moment to appreciate your beautiful Southern Hemispheric sky. Suddenly the very same constellation of satellites appeared. I must have seen them at the same time you did. The way they were equidistantly spaced made it feel like an invasion from the heavens. Spooky.
Central Utah, January 15th 2020 around 7pm. We observed a string of steady white lights spread across the sky traveling Northeast. There were 16 to 18, but we may have missed some. They were more visible coming towards us and disappeared as they got overhead or slightly past our location. Around the 12th one, there was a gap, but there seemed to be a faint one in there.
Maybe Musk’s satellites, maybe not. Our Country does have a “Space Force” now..
My wife and I saw this same thing last night (01-15-20) over SW Iowa, including the last object playing catch-up and the time is very close as well. The objects originated from the south and flew a northeast route before disappearing. Unfortunately, we did not have our phones or a camera to document our sighting.

Saw the exact same thing last night towards the west over yellowstone national park. I first opened the door and told my husband baby look at those stars… He said, are they in a straight line? I said yea strange. Upon walking outside we noticed them moving. I initially thought my eyes were playing tricks on me but sure enough they came from behind the mountains at about 7oclock and traveled slowly to the 1oclock position and disappeared. They kept coming. In a straight line except for a couple bigger spaces between and follow the one in front and disappeared. This was about 8:15pm Jan. 16 2020 all accounts i read on here before christmas were accurate except last night there were 3 or 4 brighter stationary ones i again thought were stars the line was moving between except after the line was gone the brighter stationary ones around them disappeared.

North Central Kansas 5:27am. Walking the dog looked up. I must have seen 30-45 continuous steam of lights. Going from NW to SE. Farther apart than some of the photos. Rapid moving with no wavering.

In Rochester,NY at about 7:25pm tonight (3/7/20) I counted 29 of what appeared to be sats all in a row traveling from SW to NE. There may have been more before I noticed the 1st one. What are they?
In central wi 7:30 pm on 3-6-2020 saw a large amount of bright lights coming from the west horizon continuously for ten minutes the lights were more spread apart then the photo at the top of this page they were all spaced equally apart and two were close to each other towards the end all traveling in the same path then disappeared over are home. Does anyone know what they are ?

March 16 to the SW on the Oregon Coast
Three lights very large and very low on the horizon, at first they seemed not to move. They were definitely not moving like satellites.
After about 30 minutes I watched around 11 PM they tiled from across the horizon, still keeping their perfect formation and spacing to an up and down row that moved slowing behind the trees and I could no longer see them.
So they seemed stationary a long while then moved and actually tilted 90 degrees as one..
I am seeing a series of satellites/lights moving across the night sky in southern MN. Moving From the North/northeast heading south/southeast. the lights seem somewhat evenly spaced apart about 10/20 degrees apart.
