One lightning strike. More than two years of waiting. This image shows the Leggett Post Office engulfed in flames on March 1, 2024, after a reported lightning strike ignited the building during a storm. The fire forced local residents to travel to Garberville for postal services while the facility was rebuilt. Now, the post office is set to reopen.
