Susan Lynn Wolf: 1959-2026

Susan Lynn Wolf, 67, of McKinleyville, California, passed away peacefully at home March 10th, 2026, after a long battle with cancer. She was the wife of William Wolf.  They met while they were both working for the California Conservation Corps in 1979. They were married for 45 years.

Susan was born on February 11, 1959, in Sacramento, California to Roy and Lucille Hilliker.  She had four siblings; brothers David, Dan, and Tim, and a sister, Patricia, who she shared a very special bond with.

She enjoyed gardening, baking, reading, sewing/crocheting, walking, (especially on the beach), and most of all spending time with her family. With her creative touches, she truly made a house a home. Items she made by hand are a daily reminder of the talent she had and the love that she put into each project. She was a devoted mother, making even the little moments feel extra special. She was a caretaker and support system, always there for her family. She cherished becoming a grandmother, (Grammy/Meme). She had a total of six grandkids who she loved very much.

She is survived by her loving husband, William Wolf, son, Adam Wolf (Julie Wolf), daughter, Elaina Hoppis, Johnny Hoppis) and son, Ryan Wolf, as well as her sister, Patricia Marginean, Daniel Marginean) and their children. She is also survived by grandchildren Gemma, Shannon, Preston, Declan, Logan, and Haillie, as well as their kitty GracieBelle. Susan was preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Lucille Hilliker, brothers, David, Tim, and Dan, her daughters, Kimberly, and Lynn Marie, as well as her kitty fur babies, Cheerio and Nick.
