Just what we don’t need is another wildland fire. Hopefully with all the resources attacking the fire they will be able to get it out before it grows into a much bigger burn. I hope everyone in that area is safe and no firefighters will be injured.
I am 15 miles due north, when the fire started the conditions here were 110 degrees, 16% RH with 8mph winds with gusts to 15…that is rippin fire weather! I have been walking on egg shells for 3 days straight
Yikes, sounds like it’s getting away from them a little bit…
I hope that everyone stays safe…
It wouldn’t hurt my feelings a bit if it started to cool off a bunch…
Kudos to the CDF team @ the Rohnerville air attack base. They were doing quick turnarounds on 3 S-2Ts fighting this fire all afternoon.
Thank you for that, the smoke has been increasing in the sky north of Round Valley. What direction is the fire moving, does anyone know? I am concerned for None Of The Above. Be safe, Chuck U!
It is just showing up on CalTopo, by tomorrow it should show boundaries. I overlaid fire history and there is a bunch of August Fire burn scar between me and it…and I am a “bit” farther than 15 miles looking at this better map.
