The Rotary Club of Eureka has welcomed Liz Link as its new President for the 2026-27 Rotary year. Liz’s presidential message for 2026-27, “Building Something Beautiful Together,” fits naturally with Rotary International’s theme for the year: “Create Lasting Impact.”

A retired Postmaster with the United States Postal Service after a 22-year career, Liz now serves as Commercial Specialist and Community Liaison for Six Rivers Solar, where she helps local businesses thrive and builds strong community relationships.

As Liz begins her term, her biggest goal is to raise the profile of the Rotary Club of Eureka. A 2025 survey found that only about one third of people under 40 have heard of Rotary, even though many are looking for ways to give back to their community. By telling the club’s story more often, celebrating the efforts of its members, and participating in more community events, the club plans to make a greater local impact and welcome new members.

Liz is taking the helm from outgoing President Dale Warmuth, whose pride in Rotary was obvious everywhere he went. Dale never missed a chance to wear Rotary gear or to represent the club in public. Dale’s focus on visibility laid important groundwork and Liz intends to build on this momentum, helping more people understand who Rotarians are and the impact they make.

The Rotary Club of Eureka belongs to Rotary International, a worldwide organization with over 1.4 million members dedicated to offering humanitarian service and promoting goodwill and peace across the globe. The Rotary Club of Eureka, founded in 1923, has been active for over a century, working to benefit the Eureka community. The club meets on Mondays at noon at the Inn at 2nd and C in Eureka. Visitors and prospective members are welcome.
