[UPDATE 5:54 p.m.: Now 5-10 Acres] Vegetation Burns Along Railroad Tracks on the North End of Ukiah

Initial reports described the fire as one acre in size and burning along a railroad track. The Incident Commander reported the fire had the potential to spread 10-15 acres.

At one point in the AlertFire Redwood Valley webcam, a column of black smoke could be seen burning.

UPDATE 5:46 p.m.: An updated acreage provided by the Incident Commander over the scanner estimated the fire at this point has burned 5-10 acres.
