[UPDATE 12:58 p.m.] Motel Catches Fire in Eureka Early This Morning

According to Humboldt Bay Fire, firefighters chased the fire between floors, walls and into the attic.
Humboldt Bay Battalion Chief Chris Emmons says the cause is under investigation but they believe it was a malfunctioning ceiling fan.

Sounds like people know alot about that Motel years and years ago there used to be a bar connected to the hotel very popular place and I believe the motel was owned by some people from India but that time it was kept up nicely so I don’t know what happened but thank goodness the fire department stopped it because next door is an insurance company we have a friend across the street that owns an oil place fire department did a great job again thank you
