This is a press release from the Cal Poly Humboldt — Reese Bullen Gallery:

The Reese Bullen Gallery at Cal Poly Humboldt is proud to announce the opening of the 2026 Art Graduates Exhibition, a showcase highlighting the creative achievements of this year’s graduating Art majors and minors. Hours for public viewing begin Wednesday, April 22nd, until Saturday May 16th, 2026.

This exhibition features a wide range of artistic styles and approaches, reflecting the diverse identities, perspectives, and influences of the students. Visitors can expect to experience work across multiple media, including ceramics, painting, photography, printmaking, small metals, sculpture, and digital arts. Together, these pieces demonstrate both technical skill and personal expression, offering a powerful look at the next generation of emerging artists.

An Awards Presentation will take place on Thursday, April 30th, from 4:30pm to 6:00pm. The ceremony will begin at 4:30pm outside the gallery on the front steps of the Art B Building, followed by a reception indoors where guests can meet the artists and view the exhibition. In the event of rain, an alternate location will be posted on the gallery door.

This exhibition celebrates not only the culmination of each student’s academic journey but also their entry into the broader art world. The public is invited to attend and support these talented graduating artists. Please join us!
