Narrow ‘T’ Intersections on a 1-1/2 lane road.
IMHO: Somebody went wide around the corner.

It’s two lanes, but just barely. I’ve ridden my bicycle out there many, many times and I’ve never had a problem seeing someone coming. Pure speculation, but possibly the driver took the turn wide while the young rider assumed the driver saw him. You know what they say about “assume”; it makes an ass out of you and a corpse out of me.

I’m glad everyone got off so lightly.

With the change of season and the price of gas a lot more people are going to be digging out their infrequently ridden motorcycles and working to regain rusty skills.

Motorists, as the weather gets better, please watch out for motorcycles. Just in the past month I have personally been cut off by drivers not paying attention. The first accident I was in years ago, this little old grey haired grandma said , Sorry I didn’t see you.

I hope he is ok and will be up and riding again in no time. Summer is coming and the bikers will be hitting the roads for some nice weather rides. Please be careful and watch for motorcycles in town and out on the highways. I don’t want to see the start of the riding season ending up with a fatality.
