Is the dog OK?
It looked ok. Wagging it’s tail and hanging with the rescuers.
Hope the person transported to the hospital will be fine.
I was walking over the 7th Street overpass earlier and stopped to look onto the freeway at all the cars and trucks driving underneath me. I gave up my car 3 years ago and a friend loaned me a car last year at this time which I returned to him last week. Thinking about how cars make us move faster than may be safe and I hope more people will try to find other ways to get around on foot, bicycle, bus or carpools. Climate change is here. It’s real. And we all benefit by slowing down and driving less and reducing the vehicle miles traveled and the greenhouse gases. Regional Climate Action Plan will require a 35% reduction by 2030.
So tragic that a person is so consumed with their “climate change” obsession that it renders them incapable of expressing compassion, or any other acknowledgement, for a person injured in a traffic collision
Try to have some sympathy Karen.
Now she knows; the speed limit isn’t a suggestion. I hope she and the dog are okay.
Me, too. She was supposed to be the brains of the outfit. At least she didn’t take anyone but the poor dog with her.
Actually that’s exactly what the yellow sign is, a suggested speed. Highly likely that she exceeded said suggestion.
The northbound one is even worse: 65 to 30 in a short distance and you get the onboarding traffic that has to scissor over and speed up just as you slow down.
I appreciate that high school physics class I took in 1959.where I was introduced to the laws of motion. It helped me survive this far.
People drive here every day. Do they not know to slow down?
