[Update: Fire Extinguished] Trailer Fire Reported Near Golden Bear Bridge in Klamath
Around 3:50 p.m. on Friday afternoon, first responders were dispatched to fire near the Golden Bear bridge near Klamath.
According to scanner traffic, multiple trailers were on fire near the Klamath Townsite near the iconic bridge on Highway 101.
Shortly after the call for aid went out, the incident commander reported that the fire was knocked down, though units continued to the scene as firefighters worked to fully extinguish the fire.

Update: The Yurok Tribal Police Department published the following on their Facebook page this afternoon:
Klamath Fire is currently putting out a fire someone set at the old townsite boat ramp. We would appreciate it if the area remains clear until it is safe.

Another crazy fire bug running around setting fires. Thankfully, so far there is no report of injuries or death. Thank you to the Klamath Fire Department for knocking the fire down and out. Great job!
