Discover Humboldt: ‘Humboldt OFF-ROAD on the South Spit Dunes’
Dock’s latest Discover Humboldt episode gives viewers a look at the “Humboldt OFF-ROAD on the South Spit Dunes.” Dock writes:
Today we’re out at the South Spit along South Humboldt Bay, taking our Coleman CT200U-EX modified mini bike out on the beach and letting the dog stretch his legs. It’s a little cold, but with clear skies, calm ocean conditions, and wide-open sand, it’s the perfect day to get outside and enjoy the Humboldt coast.
From cruising along South Jetty Road to riding the mini bike on miles of open beach, this spot never disappoints. The fog hangs low, the surf stays mellow, and even in winter, South Spit is one of the most peaceful places to roam in Humboldt County.
This video is about simple fun—getting out of the house, riding, running the dog, and enjoying the coastline the way locals do. Whether you’re into mini bikes, beach riding, dogs, or Northern California adventures, this is what Humboldt living looks like.
