Mekko (my 11-month-old Golden Retriever) and I headed out to Samoa Beach on the California North Coast to check on the rising King Tides rolling in… .The tide was already pushing high, the marine layer sat offshore, and the swells were spaced far enough apart to bring potential sneaker waves — so we came out early to see what conditions looked like.
