November SNAP Benefits Half Normal Size

California Attorney General logoPress release from the California’s Attorney General’s Office:

California Attorney General Rob Bonta [yesterday] issued the following statement in response to the news that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) will only be providing partial Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefits for the month of November. [Yesterday], in a new legal filing, the Trump Administration wrote the following: “Per orders issued by the United States District Courts for the Districts of Massachusetts and Rhode Island, [the Trump Administration] intends to deplete SNAP contingency funds completely and provide reduced SNAP benefits for November 2025.” Last week, Attorney General Bonta co-led a coalition of 23 attorneys general and three governors in filing a lawsuit in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts against the USDA and its Secretary, Brooke Rollins, over the unlawful suspension of November SNAP benefits.

“My fellow attorneys general and I took the Trump Administration to court because they chose to suspend November SNAP benefits. That decision was not only unlawful, as two federal courts ruled on Friday; it has also forced the 42 million individuals who rely on SNAP to scramble and figure out where their next meal is going to come from. Americans of all political persuasions have rightfully been outraged,” said Attorney General Bonta. “….we learned that the Trump Administration has decided, at long last and in the face of growing public pressure, to partially fund November SNAP benefits. This is an important development, but the reality is that SNAP benefits won’t become immediately available to recipients. This lag is problematic and the result of President Trump’s failure to follow the law until ordered to do so. In addition, today’s announcement by the Trump Administration represents a moral failure. We are the richest country in the world, and the federal government could fully fund November SNAP benefits if it wanted to. Recent images and videos of long lines at food pantries nationwide highlight the gravity of the current situation — we must continue to care for those in greatest need. My office remains focused on holding the Trump Administration accountable for its illegal actions.”

Dick Cheney was one of the greatest terrorist leaders and strategists we have ever been blessed with. He helped to spread terrorism around the world to our benefit.

I have stood in line at windows behind a couple with two carts full of groceries and paid for them with foodstamps/snap and then pulled out a roll of hundred dollar bills six inches thick to pay for the stuff that foodstamps would not cover when I got outside they were loading it all into a brand new dodge truck this system is being taken advantageous how come they always say social security is going broke but they never run out of money for the degenerates on welfare honestcquestion

And how often have you seen a families without big rolls of money buying groceries with SNAP? Or were they invisible.

Social Security is going broke partly because Congress keeps borrowing from the fund.

Not often but then should it even be once? There is a problem when so many people get money from what is actually named “Supplemental Nutritional Assistance Program.”
The SNAP program pays out roughly $1.045 billion per month to beneficiaries in the state, compared to $647 million in New York, $614 million in Texas, and $535 million in Florida.”

Progressives talk about corporate welfare but when the oft touted 4th largest economy still pays so many, there is a real issue with what people get paid what wages.

“NOVEMBER SNAP BENEFITS HALF NORMAL SIZE”
PERFECT..!!!

Now Bonta and the SNAP benefits have something in common…

WHAT A SHRIMP…!!!

Want a half pint with that whine…???

Enough “partial posturing”, projection and deflection BONTA, (EMPHASIS ON THE “ROB”)…

“Get off your finger pointing ass, find your balls, and singlehandedly tell your worthless Senators to pass the Continuing Resolution, already, after voting against it for 13 times, already, and stop behaving so foolishly …!!!

Problem solved..!!!

Bonta, you should properly focus on your own party’s accountability for it’s full responsibility for the government shutdown truly, and deal with that honorably, instead of dishonorablly and dishonestly trying to despicably deflect blame onto ANYONE else, besides yourselves…

Stop trying to frame the Republicans, for your own political party’s abject failures, and it’s intetionàlly inflicted deprivation, chaos and suffering, upon the American People…

You and your co conspirators should all be court martialed…

Your’ shameful conduct, collectively and individually, is entirely unbecoming of any elected officer.

I love the fact that the maga crowd, as always, is fact-free when it comes to TheDonald…

The man has torn down the east wing of the white house to build a multimillion $$$ ballroom at the same time he’s trying to cut obamacare benes to everyday amerikans, and has been trying to choke off snap (calfresh) benes to mainly old&young people!

But maga still loves him. Go figure.

Private funds are being used for White House renovations. The connection you’re trying to draw doesn’t exist.

Trump turned The White House into The Whore House.
He’s always looking to capitalize on what he knows from his small decadent NYC blackmailed elite small-world.

Damn, I’m sorry. I’ll let you get back to talking to yourself. I’m glad we both agree on the general garbage nature of the US government.

Right; it’s coming from corporations he sued and billionaires who donated out of the kindness of their hearts, with no ulterior motives at all.

I’d hardly call destroying part of the White House to build a 90,000 sf monument to 47’s mental illness “renovations”. It’s not even his house, he’s just living there temporarily.

The connection is that Trump is a useful scapegoat for the people who actually put in a promise to reduce subsidies in 2026 back to original levels in order to get the bill increasing subsidies passed in 2021. It was very expensive and couldn’t have passed otherwise. But, while handing out gifts it easy, it is very hard to deal with the expectations created by them being disappointed.

You are right that there is not real connection but solicitation of money for this stinks of both extortion and bribery.

You know why MAGA loves Trump? Because he stands between them and the Progressive’s authoritarianism. He may be a loose cannon but at least he is frequently pointed in the right direction enough for some.
