Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office Seeks Help Finding Missing McKinleyville Man

Missing Person Corey Shannon-Johnson
The Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s help to locate missing person Corey Shannon-Johnson, 33 -years-old, of McKinleyville. Corey Shannon-Johnson was reported missing on Nov.1, 2025 and was last seen in McKinleyville. He is described as a white male adult, 5’9” tall, 185 lbs., brown hair and blue eyes.
Anyone who has seen or knows the whereabouts of Shannon-Johnson is asked to call the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office at 707-445-7251 and refer to case number 202504996.

I just dont understand how so many can go missing in Humboldt and never found. One thing I do know is if you want results you go to the media, radio and you do your own foot work talk to everyone he saw before he went missing someone knows. About my friends daughter Carrie who was Murdered behind Ray’s in Arcata last week I spent my birthday with her half sister questioning everyone that was out there homeless and knew her. She was a sweet girl and didn’t deserve this seeing her the night before she was fine and if I would have known she was back there I would have took her home with me but she didn’t tell me. We narrowed it to two people as real possible and why havnt Arcata Police done there footwork there are so many cameras across the street in the apartment and the Hampton in that if they went door to door and looked at footage they would have seen someone. That bear got more coverage then she did she was a mother of 5 children and has alot of family and friends that love her. If it was my kid missing I would go to the media and radio and put it out there because you will discover more then the Sheriff’s department will.
Fortuna doesn’t even do investigations. Assumptions over evidence. That is why people go missing, because the police don’t do a damn thing. I turned in a serial killer to fortuna. And in-between the police and medical, they literally did nothing. They are a total joke
