[Update: Forward Progress Stopped; New Start Reported] Mountain Fire Burns Along Highway 36, One Structure Destroyed

Around 1:20 p.m. on Tuesday afternoon, a full wildland fire response was dispatched to the 31000 block of Highway 36 for the report of a structure fire with spread to the vegetation. The incident location is between Bridgeville and Dinsmore, south west* of McClellan Mountain Road.
According to Air Attack 120 overhead of what is now called the Mountain Fire, reports that the fire is approximately 1 acre in size with one structure destroyed, two other structures are threatened. The fire is growing at a moderate rate of spread moving into timber.
In addition to the Air Attack plane, CAL FIRE copter 611 is en route, as well as ground resources from CAL FIRE and Bridgeville Volunteer Fire Department. Three Two additional type 3 engines have been requested.

Update 1:53 p.m.: According to the ADS-B Exchange flight radar, CAL FIRE has tankers 95 & 96 on scene and has pulled the Sikorsky helicopter from another fire to assist on the Mountain Fire.
Additionally, the incident commander has requested additional water tenders from Rio Dell VFD and Loleta VFD.
*Note: The original address given to responding fire fighters was on the eastbound side of Hwy 36 to the south of McClellan Mountain Road. However, based on the flight patterns of Air Attack 120 circling overhead, the fire is located on the westbound side of Hwy 36 to the west of McClellan Mountain Road.
Update 2:35 p.m.: According to scanner traffic, some air resources have been released from the Mountain Fire. The requested dozer was also cancelled.
Update 2:48 p.m.: Per the incident commander, forward progress has been stopped. CAL FIRE has two helicopters still assisting on the fire, though Air Attack 120 has headed to the report of a new start east of Ruth Lake.

Update 4:35 p.m.: According to the incident commander on the Mountain Fire, the total acreage burned is mapped at 2.2 acres. Crews will continue mop up efforts that are estimated to require four hours of commitment from the crews on scene.
