Never heard of Frontage Rd. near Trinidad.
Guess you never been to Strawberry Rock?
It connects to Patrick’s Point, old 101.
No it doesn’t
It might, if you carry enough speed.
No – it is referring to the frontage road on the other (east) side of the highway that dead ends at the trailhead to Strawberry Rock. Old Hwy 101 is now Scenic Drive south of Trinidad and Patrick’s Point Drive north of Trinidad.
CalPoly kids frequent Strawberry Rock which is at the end of Frontage Road. Really nice hike. Muddy during rainy season. Four miles round trip. A hiking app will guide you. Easy peasy.
Just as you get off 101.
At least the two injured didn’t need transporting to the hospital.
Get well soon.
