[UPDATE 12:51 p.m.] Crash Affecting Traffic on Highway 101 North of Laytonville this Morning
A crash involving a 2019 International LT625 semi-truck blocked northbound Highway 101 north of Laytonville early this (Friday) morning, according to a CHP officer as seen on the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page.
The incident occurred at approximately 3:54 a.m. near mile marker 74.3, when a square box truck overturned and came to rest on its side against an embankment.
Initial reports indicated that the roadway was initially blocked on both lanes but Caltrans Quickmap shows traffic is moving now with one-way controlled traffic. However, according to the Incident Commander speaking over the scanner, eventually, the road will need to be entirely closed when the tow truck attempts to right the overturned semi.
The CHP reported no spills or leaks from the overturned truck. The crash was classified as a non-injury traffic collision.
Please remember that information gathered from initial reports is subject to revision as more facts become available.
UPDATE 12:51 p.m.: The CHP Traffic Incident Information Page is now reporting that the road is open completely.

A semi is not a box truck. I am happy that the driver did not receive any injuries.
Slow.
Down.
