Green Point School-The End of an Era

Welcome to Green Point School’s Potluck and Spring Celebration! 

Due to low enrollment, Green Point School will be closing at the end of this school year. We are inviting all community members, alumni and staff members to join us for a chance to share memories of our beloved school!

When: Sunday, June 15th, 2025, 12 p.m.-3 p.m.

Where: Green Point School, 180 Valkensar Lane, Blue Lake, CA 95525

What: 

  •               Community Potluck (please bring a dish to share) 
  •              Keyboarding Recital by Green Point Students
  •              Presentation and photos of Green Point School through the years
  •              Sharing (and videotaping) Memories of Green Point School

Awhile ago in the not too distance past our family heard about a nice fixer upper near the creek we had heard would be for sale. A neighbor down the way heard we had children and mobilized hard to find a childless older couple to buy the property instead. Course she’d raised HER children out there but was certain not to encourage others to do so. One of the many reasons why Greenpoint is closing.
