Dell’Arte International Announces ‘Page to Stage: 10 Minute Play Camp’ A Two-Week Summer Theater Intensive for Teens

This is a press release from the Dell’Arte International:

Dell’Arte International invites teens ages 13–18 to discover their creative voice this summer through Page to Stage: 10 Minute Play Camp, a two-week intensive held July 6–17, 2026.

Rooted in Dell’Arte’s celebrated tradition of ensemble-based devised physical theater, the camp offers young artists a supportive and imaginative environment to build confidence, take risks, and make real art. Through daily theater and improv games, participants collaborate with Dell’Arte’s experienced teaching artists to create, rehearse, and perform original theater pieces — culminating in a public performance on the final evening.

“The time, location, price, and spirit of the program, along with the famed Dell’Arte tradition, can’t be beat. The teachers are experienced and will hold the kids to a high standard, yet will have reasonable expectations for those who come in with fear of making mistakes, creating an environment in which all kids are encouraged, seen, and appreciated.”

— Anne Bown-Crawford, former Executive Director of the California Arts Council and parent of two Dell’Arte Youth Academy alumni
