Missing Redway Woman Found Safe

pretty woman with sunglasses on her head, one arm perched ontop of her headJust before 3 p.m. on August 1, the family of missing woman Jamie Moroni, announced that the 42-year-old was located safe in Sonoma County.

Moroni was last seen by her ex-boyfriend in the early hours of July 16 when she left their shared residence. After several days, the family filed a missing person’s report when it became apparent that the Redway resident had not made contact with any of her acquaintances since July 16.

The two-week-long search for Moroni has turned up multiple unconfirmed sightings in and around Southern Humboldt. However, those sightings weren’t confirmed, leaving the family worrying for Moroni’s safety.

In coordination with the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office, the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office was able to locate Moroni and deliver the joyous news to her family.

The family expressed deep gratitude for the communities help and support in looking for Moroni.

I am not really sure why she chose to leave, but I am very happy that she was located and is fine. I can only imagine what her family went through waiting for her to call or law enforcement to call and say she is fine.

Glad she is home.
What a relief for her family & friends.
So, what is the reason she never contacted anyone to let them know she was fine?
Why did she leave without telling anyone?
Was she taken?
Did she leave on her own & just didn’t say anything?
If she did leave on her own maybe she didn’t want to be found?
So many questions as to why she didn’t contact anyone.
I hope they let us know what happened.
