Traffic CollisionJust before 8 a.m. on November 27, first responders were dispatched to a two-vehicle collision near the intersection of Greenwood Avenue and Blue Lake Boulevard.

The collision involved a loaded logging truck and an SUV. The vehicles are reportedly blocking the intersection.

According to scanner traffic, extrication is needed though injuries, if any, are unknown at this point. An ambulance is en route along with fire department first responders.

That’s right at the corner of Blue Lake School, right where moms drop off their kids for school. Lots of sirens. I hope everyone is ok.

Log truck drivers are the worst, especially this newer generation. The are on their phones and low-grade energy drinks

My son saw the accident the logging truck ran into the back of the suv (mom/child turning into Blue Lake School) and had to be extricated. It sounds like they’re okay. I don’t know what they are going to feel like tomorrow,

Log trucks are here, and they’re always right. Even when they’re wrong there’s no arguing with a log truck. Those guys are some of the best drivers, can you imagine driving 80,000 lbs on some of these roads many cars have trouble negotiating.

Seems to be in the same area where all those junk trucks and vans are parked permanently along Blue Lake Blvd making it difficult to see on coming traffic

That’s my friends house. Those are all classics that run amazing. Pop the hood on anyone of those and will make your car look like butt

Those vehicles were nit even close to blocking the sight of anything! The suv was at a complete stop with blinker on waiting to turn left. The semi was careless and not paying attention.
