[UPDATE 2:34 p.m.] Structure Fire off Elk Creek Road in Southern Humboldt

At approximately 1 p.m., local residents called in a structure fire in the 2600 block of Elk Creek Road off Dyerville Loop Road east of Myers Flat in the Fruitland Ridge.

One fully involved structure and spreading into the vegetation, the Incident Commander told dispatch over the scanner.

Just out of curiosity. I wonder if it’s the same piece of property that’s had structure fires 3 years in a row now? Anyways I hope it wasn’t their house, hope everyone is ok.

No, it’s not. And it was 3 different parcels next to each other. Not that we’re not sick of it.
