“I Street is open to one-way traffic.”
Isn’t I Street already a one-way street?

I’m often amazed at the reporting here on RHBB. Newspapers were like this a very long time ago fast moving reporters who actually go out and report.

I hope everyone makes a full recovery.

All the best to the victims but Eureka seems to have become a Demolition Derby these days…

With all the traffic accidents lately, it would be interesting to see some sort of historical data about this.
Everyday it’s another round of Demolition Derby out there.

I am just very thankful that the pedestrian was not killed, and the driver. That GMC Yukon is a big heavy vehicle and really does so serious damage to smaller cars and people walking on the sidewalk. As always, a BIG thank you to the men and women of Humboldt Bay Fire who respond to these accidents. God bless them!

When it’s pedestrian versus vehicle, the human never wins.

EPD must use their radar and start handing out tickets by the dozens and start using traffic cameras, to slow these idiots down…

I do wish RHBB would stop using “accident”. It implies that it just sort of happened, and couldn’t be prevented, when 99.9% of the time someone did something stupid. “Crash” or “collision” are the preferred terms these days. I really hope everyone is okay.
