[UPDATE 5:55 p.m.] Crash Blocks Eastbound Hwy 36 at Hydesville
About 4:50 p.m., two vehicles collided on Hwy 36 in Hydesville.
According to the CHP Traffic Incident Information Page, the eastbound lane is blocked. One person is possibly injured.
Dispatch reported over the scanner that the California Hwy Patrol and an ambulance are responding to the area.
“We have an uncooperative subject-possibly intoxicated,” one emergency responder told dispatch.

I hope the cause was not drinking and driving. We have more than our fair share of drunks on our roads.
If the cause was drinking and driving, I hope the drunk driver catches a jail sentence to sober up.
