The following scheduled roadwork has been verified at the time of release. Del Norte County
U.S. 101 (8.3/8.6) – Bridge work on the Hunter and Panther bridges will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C101KB

U.S. 101 (14.9/22.7) – Construction in the Last Chance Grade area will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate 25-minute delays at all hours. LC#C101FA and C101OC

U.S. 199 (2.5/3) – Construction work near Kings Valley Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C199CA

U.S. 199 (28.5/35) – Culvert work between Monkey Creek Road and Oregon Mountain Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect weekdays from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C199XA

 

Humboldt County

Route 36 (10.3/11.5) – Construction work from Johnson Lane to Hely Creek Bridge will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect weekdays from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C36VA

Route 96 (40.7/43.5) – Guardrail work north of Orleans from the Pearch Creek Bridge to south of the Siskiyou County Line will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#M96DA

U.S. 101 (17.9) – Bridge work south of Phillipsville will continue. Lane closures will be in effect weekdays. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. A northbound onramp closure will also be in effect. Motorists should use an alternate route. LC#C101FB

U.S. 101 (27.7/27.9) – Bridge work near Myers Flat will continue. Lane closures will be in effect weekdays from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. A full on ramp closure will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101CF

U.S. 101 (45.6/60.7) – Bridge work between Pepperwood and Fortuna will begin on Monday, August 29. Lane closures will be in effect weekdays between 5 p.m. and 5 a.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101ZC

U.S. 101 (64.3) – Tree work at the Route 211 southbound on ramp will occur on Monday, August 29. A full closure will be in effect between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#M101SA

U.S. 101 (78.4/78.5) – Drainage work between northbound “D” and “F” streets will continue. Lane closures will be in effect between 7 a.m. and 8 p.m. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101BD

U.S. 101 (78.4/78.5) – Drainage cleaning between southbound Route 221 and the Seventh Street Overcrossing will begin on Sunday, August 28. Lane closures will be in effect between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. A full southbound off ramp closure at Route 255 will also be in effect nightly from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. through the morning of Thursday, September 1. Motorists should anticipate minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101BD

U.S. 101 (87.9/109.6) – Construction and paving work from Murray Road Overcrossing to Georgia Pacific Road will continue. One-way traffic control and lane closures will be in effect weekdays from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. Full southbound on and off ramp closures will be in effect weekdays from 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the following locations: School Road Overcrossing, Murray Road Overcrossing, Airport Road Undercrossing, North Central Avenue Undercrossing, Crannel Road Overcrossing beginning Monday, August 29. Motorists should follow signage and use an alternate route when necessary. LC#C101CA and #C101ZC

Route 255 (2.9/6) – Permitted utility work between Peninsula Drive and Jackson Ranch Road will continue. One-way traffic control and lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C255BA

Route 299 (1.8) – Construction near Route 200 will continue. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should expect minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C299CA 

Route 299 (22.3/28.4) – Emergency work from Redwood Creek Bridge to Vista Point will continue. Lane closures will be in effect weekdays from 7 a.m.to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#C299MA and C299OA

Route 299 (34.6/37.9) – Construction from Willow Creek to Old Three Creek Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Motorists should anticipate 10-minute delays. LC#C299B

 

Lake County

Route 20 (5.5) – Road work near Witter Springs Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C20SB

 

Route 29 (6.3/7.7) – Utility work in Middletown at Saint Helena Creek will occur on Wednesday, August 31. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P29DA

 

Route 29 (27.9/32) – Road work at Route 281 continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 p.m. to 7 a.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#C29FA

 

Route 29 (49.2/51.2) – Bridge work at Robinson Rancheria Road continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C29VA

 

Route 175 (.2/.3) – Utility work will occur east of Mathews Road on Wednesday, August 31. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C175AA

 

Route 175 (19.2/20) – Bridge work in Cobb at Estates Drive will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C175RA

 

Mendocino County

 

Route 1 (33.6/34.9) – Caltrans has granted an encroachment permit for the Great Day in Elk Parade at Cliff Ridge Road on Saturday, August 27. Lane closures will be in effect from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 1-hour delays. LC#P1FA

 

Route 1 (62.3/63.8) – Utility Work in Fort Bragg from Pudding Creek Beach Access to Happy Lane will conclude Friday, August 26. One-way traffic will run from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Expect 5-minute delays. LC#P1FA

Route 20 (5.4/6.5) – Utility work east of Fort Bragg will begin on Monday, August 29. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P20BA 

 

Route 20 (19/20.3) – Road work at James Creek continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#C20IB

Route 20 (31.8/32.7) – Paving work east of the Broaddus Railroad Crossing to north of the 101 junction will conclude Friday, August 26. One-way traffic control will run from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#C20BA

 

Route 20 (33.3/34.8) Construction near the North Calpella Overcrossing continues. One-way traffic control will run from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C20BB

 

Route 20 (34.5/35.8) Tree work from Monica Lane to the Jct 20/101 Bridge will begin on Monday, August 29. One-way traffic control will run from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weeknights. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#S20BA

 

U.S. 101 (5/5.9) – Slide removal at Pieta Creek Bridge continues. Northbound lane closures will be in effect. Motorists should anticipate up to 5-minute delays. LC#C101KC

 

U.S. 101 (14.4/16.4) – Bridge work at the Crawford Creek Bridge continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C101GA 

 

U.S. 101 (15.9) – Bridge work at the McNab Creek Bridge continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C101BA

 

U.S. 101 (23.4) – Road work continues in Ukiah at Route 222. Lane closures will be in effect from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should expect minor slowdowns through the area. LC#101UB

(24.5/25.7) – Fence work in Ukiah at the East Perkins Street Overcrossing continues. Lane closures will be in effect from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should expect minor slowdowns through the area. LC#101UB 

 

U.S. 101 (25.7/26.6) – Utility work will occur in Ukiah from the Presswood Overhead Bridge to Ackerman Creek. Lane closures will be in effect from 8 p.m. to 7 a.m. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#P101FA

 

U.S. 101 (25.7/27) – Bridge work in Ukiah from the Presswood Overhead Bridge to the Hensley Creek Undercrossing continues. Lane Closures will be in effect from 6:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Motorists should expect minor slowdowns through the area. LC#C101UB


U.S. 101 (30.7) – Road work in Calpella at Route 20 will begin on Thursday, August 25. A full closure of the northbound offramp will be in effect from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C101WC
 

 

U.S. 101 (42.4/46.4) – Southbound work along the Willits Bypass will occur. A lane closure will be in effect. Expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101RA

 

U.S. 101 (50.8/52.5) – Culvert work near Ryan Creek Road continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C101AD

 

Route 162 (.6/.8) – Bridge work at Crawford Creek will begin on Thursday, August 25. One-way traffic control will be in effect and motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C162GA

Route 162 (11/12.6) – Road work south of Dos Rios near the Rodeo Creek Bridge continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 3 p.m. to 7 a.m. weeknights. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C162IA

Route 271 (6.6/7.1) – Culvert work in Leggett south of Drive Thru Tree Road will begin on Monday, August 29. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C271DA

Route 271 (16.9/17) – Slide removal continues south of Piercy near Reynolds State Park Road. A full lane closure is in effect and motorists should use an alternate route. LC#T271BA

Route 271 (17.8/18.3) – Culvert work will occur at McCoy Creek on Friday, August 26. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C271DA

i don’t think the county coordinated with Caltrans on this. The county has south Central closed to southbound for construction. so how does one go south from McK?
