With 100% of the Vote Counted, Natalie Arroyo Accepts Supervisor Slot

Press release from Natalie Arroyo:Natalie Arroyo

Natalie Arroyo is grateful to the voters of Humboldt County and is honored to have been voted in as the next District 4 County Supervisor. Natalie launched her campaign in August 2021 after a long period of careful consideration and research. During her campaign, Natalie personally knocked on more than 1,500 doors, and a steadfast volunteer team helped to reach thousands more voters. Natalie is thrilled about this outcome and wants to express appreciation to District 4’s voters!

Natalie will take office in January 2023, at the conclusion of current District 4 Supervisor Virginia Bass’s term. Natalie will complete her current term on the Eureka City Council which ends at the end of 2022, and will continue to work full-time in the community until she is sworn in as a Supervisor. For the next 6 months, she will conduct preparatory listening sessions with community-based organizations, neighborhood groups, tribal government leaders, local businesses, County staff, and residents to more deeply understand community ideas and needs.

“I look forward to gathering lots of information and listening thoughtfully to ideas about what is going well and what changes my community wishes to see in the district”, said Natalie. “I bring a wide range of skills to the position, and I look forward to spending the coming months learning from you so I can combine my skills with a great knowledge base. Thank you so much for the incredible support! The community’s choice was clear, and your trust in me is both humbling and inspiring.”

Beware, all who enter here…

On the other hand, which is worse, a crazy lady or an “on the job trained” Supervisor?

The scary thing: The people doing the “training…”

Natalie: Stick with Steve, and try to not become enthralled with graft, power and the kind of stuff people will offer…

Probably a good idea to have a Native American Supervisor, so, good luck…

Natalie Arroyo as the source of all fears? LOL. Her presence up there will be a breath of fresh air.

Yeah, oh boy, we move to a lesser circle of hell in Dante’s inferno. We all needed a chuckle.

That’s funny! Everything sucks, but OK, Native American so OK, good luck . . . , I guess, maybe, sort of . . . . Geez . . .I dunno.

Do you know what tribe she is a member of, or proof of bloodline. I would have to ask who is she and what tribe is she part of if any. We have been local forever and one would think someone would know her family bloodline or gov tribe.

No chance anything will improve any time soon. Extreme far left “leadership” will continue to destroy any shred of the good that remains in Humboldt. What she failed to do to improve the ever worsening Eureka, she will fail to do as a supervisor. Totally disgusted.

How does Humboldt County have “far left leadership”?

Also, eureka seems to be staying pretty stable, maybe even improving a little over the last 5 years.

This “far left” schlock is what you get when people are steeped in the Big Lie long enough, it permeates every thought process they have.

Don’t forget, it assumes they can process a thought of which I see no evidence. It has long been known that running your mouth is not evidence of running your brain.

She’s extremely proud of her lack of desire to listen to “the comments” and has boasted such on the banner of her Facebook page.
She’s a grifter – full stop.
Good luck, Humboldt, we’re going to need it …

I find Eureka better off today than it has been in the past. I’m very pleased Arroyo has a seat on the board and look forward to youth and vigor making decisions for the future of this county.

I like how anyone who isn’t out on the far right side of the political spectrum is labeled as part of the extreme left. Even folks who are clearly centrists are labeled as extremists.

If you want to know why the US is so polarized it’s because so this narrative is getting consistently repeated by commentators until it becomes dogma.

The country is becoming more and more tribal. This nonsense about Democrats being out to destroy the country is reactionary gibberish. As a matter of fact it was the left of the Democratic party, the Bernie ” I will never vote for that bitch Hilary” crowd that helped put Trump in office.

Hillary was too robotic, and perceived as a dynasty candidate, an appointment. Bernie might have won if the DNC hadn’t fought the flow and nominated him. Trump was a pallette for the right to paint a tough leader.

I think that if Bernie had been nominated the gloves would have come off. It was a Republican trap. A self avowed “socialist” would have been easy prey once he became the heir apparent.

The gloves would have come off?

I’m not sure that would even have been necessary…

Didn’t you see how Bernie almost knocked himself out with the speed bag?

Look, I thought that Bernie was very intelligent. Too intelligent in fact. That isn’t very popular in America.

That’s why the idiots rule.

Nobody wants to hire someone smarter than them, not even for the Presidency.

The Democrats, or the Republicans, for that matter, are not necessarily out to destroy the Country.

But in their lust to line their own pockets with cash, little else matters, and so the destruction of the Country, and other countries, just becomes nothing more than inevitable, collateral damage.

Business as usual.

The problem is, is that it’s unsustainable, and we have reached “critical mass”.

Once the Country is milked dry, the bleeding will start, because the squeezing won’t cease.

The destructive chain reaction has begun.

There is no stopping it now…

The economy is in meltdown.

It will leave many permanent shadows behind.

Blame will solve nothing.

Brace yourselves. It’s gonna be a rough ride.

We would not have this disastrous Supreme Court if RBG had retired in her 80’s under Obama and if Hillary had won. Not voting for Hillary consigned America to creeping degradation and dissolution.

Hillary won the most votes! Only in a fake democracy would the LOSER (tRump) get the prize.

Hillary was a practical vote to many, and a dynasty appointee to the rich. To say she lacked charisma is an understatement. But more importantly, she was a hawkish neo liberal Repubmocrat. Come on, Joe Lieberman sucked. Why run a female version? It’s not Bernie Sanders fault the DNC establishment isn’t reading the tea leaves of the Nation. How about Kamala Harris/Katie Porter 2024!? Biden finally got his chance despite himself, because Ketchup Tantrum was so bad. And weird. Weird bad.

Yes to all of the above. Kamala has been my choice from the beginning. There is something there with her. Lieberman was transparent, if it was anti muslim he was on board. A modern day zealot.

Kamala Harris, the EOP VP…
Went to the law school named after a mass murderer, on financial aid, shlepped through a hole in history, but who doesn’t possess the brains given a small furry creature…
The repeal of Roe vs Wade indicates the fallout of the Trumpian mess, and the scramble for dough that resulted from COVID will take 100 years to reverb completely…
Trump is a sign that the gods want us all dead, and, the planet is rejecting the infections caused by crazy people grabbing everything they can get before the holocaust…
Good luck, and keep smoking that dope, because soon, it will be all you have…

I thought it was the fake democracy scam left us by the filthy slave owners, the electoral college. After all, everyone knows that Trump lost the popular vote both times he ran for president!

For a damn good reason.

The Democrats have reaped what they have sowed.

The American people have been caught between two families ( democrat and Republicans) and the result is a higher cost of doing business
