ADDITIONAL UPDATES
Slow the Spread: Get Vaccinated and Boosted for COVID-19
The risk for COVID-19 exposure and infection continues as a number of Californians remain unvaccinated and unboosted.
Real-world evidence continues to show that the vaccine is preventing severe illness, hospitalization, and death. Public health officials urge Californians to get vaccinated and boosted as soon as possible.
It is recommended that every individual over the age of 5 receive their primary COVID-19 vaccine series and booster dose.
Find a vaccine near you by visiting myturn.ca.gov or calling 1-833-422-4255. The consent of a parent or legal guardian may be needed for those under age 18 to receive a vaccination. Visit Vaccinate All 58 to learn more about the safe and effective vaccines available for all Californians 5+.
Your Actions Save Lives
Protect yourself, family, friends and your community by following these prevention measures:
- Sign-Up for COVID-19 Policy Alerts: COVID-19 Policy Alerts provide up-to-date information regarding CDPH COVID-19 guidance and policy, including changes to orders, mandatory guidance and more. Registrants will receive prompt email alerts to updated guidance and policy available on our website as well as accompanying translations. Sign-up for the COVID-19 Policy Alerts emails today.
- Wear A Mask When Recommended or Required: Under California’s mask guidance, masks are strongly recommended for all individuals in most indoor settings. Masks are required for everyone in high transmission settings like emergency shelters, health care settings, correctional facilities, homeless shelters and long-term care facilities. Local jurisdictions may have additional requirements beyond the state requirements based on local conditions.
- Upgrade Your Mask: Good fit and filtration continue to be the best way to get the most out of your mask. The best masks for preventing COVID-19 include the N95, KN95 and KF94. If you don’t have access to one of these masks, wear a surgical mask or a surgical mask with a cloth mask on top. If you choose a fabric mask, opt for one with three or more cloth layers. No matter what kind of mask you wear, check the fit by avoiding gaps above the nose or on the sides.
- Isolation and Quarantine Guidance: CDPH updated its Isolation and Quarantine Guidance, as of April 6, 2022. CDPH no longer recommends quarantine for individuals who are exposed to COVID-19 and have no symptoms. Additionally, CDPH added recommendations for workers in certain high-risk settings (healthcare settings, long-term care settings and shelters, among others).
- My Vaccine Record is an easy way to show vaccination status at venues or businesses that require proof of vaccination. Visit myvaccinerecord.cdph.ca.gov today to get your vaccine record.
- Recommendations if You’re Sick or Have Been Exposed: If you are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 (fever, cough, shortness of breath, fatigue, muscle or body aches), or believe you have been exposed, get tested, call your health care provider, and stay home and away from others. Free, confidential testing is available statewide. Know what to do if you test positive for COVID-19 or have been exposed to COVID-19.
- Wash hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
- Travel Tips: Delay travel (both domestic and international) until you are fully vaccinated. See the CDC’s full travel guidance. If you decide to travel, the state’s travel advisory recommends that all travelers arriving in California test for COVID-19 within three to five days after arrival, regardless of their vaccination status.
- Add Your Phone to the Fight: Sign up for COVID-19 exposure notifications from CA Notify. Also, individuals who test positive for COVID-19 – including those who test at home – are able to alert others of a potential exposure more quickly and conveniently. Individuals can now initiate the notification process as soon as they are aware of their positive test result. For more information, please visit the “Notify Others” page on CA Notify.
- Answer the call or text if a contact tracer from the CA COVID Team or your local health department tries to connect.
- Check with your local health department about local conditions. Local health jurisdictions can implement protocols that are stricter than state guidance.

The latest Covid-19 fact is that it is still with us and we still need to take certain precautions.
You shouldnt leave your house then because by your flawed logic you are risking the safety of everyone…
Maybe you need a J and J Jab, to top things off, here’s what Fauci, (Trustworthy Tony), had to say about the J and J Jab, after it got pulled the first time for killing people…
” “The vaccine is “still a very highly efficacious vaccine for preventing COVID-19,” Dr. Fauci says.”
Step right up…
Here is what the FDA says about it now:
https://www.aha.org/news/headline/2022-05-06-fda-limits-jj-covid-19-vaccine-use-certain-adults
It’s the last resort.
Maybe Fauci isn’t that trustworthy after all?
Suckers!
The US could have saved more than 338,000 lives and more than $105bn in healthcare costs in the Covid-19 pandemic with a universal healthcare system, according to a study.
More than 1 million people died in the US from Covid, in part because the country’s “fragmented and inefficient healthcare system” meant uninsured or underinsured people faced financial barriers that delayed diagnosis and exacerbated transmission, the report states.
https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/universal-health-care-could-have-saved-more-than-330-000-u-s-lives-during-covid/
Riiiggghhhttt… how much more “universal” can it get when testing and vaccinations were provided by your benevolent government for free?
And of those 1 million people that died WITH COVID-19, (not necessarily FROM COVID-19), 600,000+ died so far during Brandon’s Administration*. And Brandon’s Administration* had the “benefit” of the vaccines and the continuing rounds of “boosters” being offered free of charge. Much to their chagrin, they can’t give ‘em away anymore. The Pharmaceutical companies that Fauci shills for are starting to panic as the gravy train comes to a stop so now they’ve forced the CDC to say that these experimental drugs are safe for toddlers.
US health care is fine if your willing to work for a living and stay sober. Old burnt out druggies flood our Healthcare providers and have no means to pay for their upkeep of their burnt out bodies, truly no foresite or accountability , drugs do the body good.
the disconnect is strong
https://www.investopedia.com/financial-edge/0310/top-5-reasons-people-go-bankrupt.aspx
A study published in the American Journal of Public Health in 2019 found that 66.5% of bankruptcies in the U.S. were due to medical issues like being unable to pay high bills or due to time lost from work.3
Even with health insurance, high deductibles and copays, plus job loss, impact Americans.Rare or serious diseases or injuries can easily result in hundreds of thousands of dollars in medical bills—bills that can quickly wipe out savings and retirement accounts, college education funds, and home equity.
Once these have been exhausted, bankruptcy may be the only shelter left, regardless of whether the patient or his or her family was able to apply health coverage to a portion of the bill or not.
“Preventing” Covid 19?
Hmmm, 3,000,000 border crossers have entered under mini king Biden according to recent stats from the BP. Another 1,000,000 are considered getaways. Total is 4,000,000 in a year and one half. So, how many COVID cases came in when American citizens were locked down? Is this why COVID is still spreading around? Kinda hard to stop it when you are adding 1,000s of cases a day, most untreated and unreported. I hope all the Biden voters, open border advocates, and Jeb/George Bush rino losers are willing to take in 1 family unit each. They need to put their money where their mouths are, right in their backyards, mother in law units, or in spare bedrooms, COVID or no COVID. They don’t need to know the health status since they could careless, apparently. Donating money to some Catholic charity doesn’t cut it either as they are against abortion which is a no no for democrats. So, pony up your homes. Anything less from these nation destroying enablers makes them total frauds. PS don’t blame the aliens, they are just smart and see an opportunity for greater freedom, COVID or no COVID, blame Biden and his voters.
Suspected Russian bot
No, no… Biden’s not a Russian bot. He’s a blithering idiot, a compromised Communist Chinese tool, and a short-timer doing the best he can to destroy our Republic with what little time and mental faculties he has left.
Sure is heart warming to see Governor Abbott busing these poor immigrants to Washington, DC, so all of America can see just how much the swamp cares for and wants these people in their backyards. 4000 so far. And everyone volunteered. Governor Abbott isn’t forcing them to go. I’d be rounding them up and sending them on cattle cars regardless of their desire to go. Cattle cars were good enough to transport American troops around the nation when I was serving. Good enough for criminals crossing the border illegally.
“Cattle cars were good enough to transport American troops around the nation when I was serving.”
Curious, what years, which arm of the service, and where excactly?
Early 80’s. USMC, Southern California, North Carolina, South Carolina, Okinawa, Mainland Japan. We rode in cattle cars from Pendleton to MWTC, Bridgeport, CA, training around Camp Pendleton, Camp LeJeune, Cherry Point and from camp to camp in Okinawa. From Yokuska to Mt. Fuji in Japan.
I was 18 and our benevolent government trusted me to carry, use and deploy M16’s, M203 grenade launchers, 50 cal machine guns, and my favorite the Mk19 grenade launcher.
Interesting. Thanks. I’ve seen reference in this country, decades-past, to tractor- or semi-pulled “cattle car” style military transport, but not train pulled (train pulled being how I think of cattle car). Pretty rare and isolated I would think, folks in train cattle cars, like mostly on-base and similar. But more common overseas, sure.
The ones we were transported on in the US and Okinawa were pulled by military semi. We called the vehicle itself a Dragon Wagon. The “cattle cars” or trailers were very similar to what you see around Fortuna stockyard and rodeos around the country. These were used on base fairly often but would also transport from Camp Pendleton to Bridgeport MWTC up 395 which was about 400 miles and from Pendleton to 29 Palms in the desert. Same on East Coast. Base to base transport. Have no idea if they are being used today.
In Japan, they were indeed cattle cars pulled by train and had very recently been used to move livestock each time we boarded. They had been hosed out, were still wet and they stunk!
I think you meant to title this “government fear-mongers County some more”
For some people, COVID-19 symptoms can last anywhere from four weeks to six months after testing positive for the virus. These patients, given the name “long haulers”, have in theory recovered from the worst impacts of COVID-19 and have tested negative. However, they still have symptoms of what’s being called “long COVID.” There seems to be no consistent reason for this to happen.
This condition can affect anyone – old and young, otherwise healthy people and those battling other conditions. It has been seen in those who were hospitalized with COVID-19 and patients with very mild symptoms. Studies indicate that about 10% of people infected with COVID-19 will experience long-haul symptoms.

Government Facts.
lulz.
“Unvaccinated people are 5.3 times more likely to get COVID-19 than boosted individuals (May 23, 2022 – May 29, 2022”
Huh????????????
Fact check!!!
Because every case lately locally and nationally seems to impact the vaxxed and boosted same or more frequently than the unvaxxed. I’m so tired of the lies.
Come on , get the shot and help Pfizer make a buck .
Cases still nearly double, (1.9 times), for the boosted, compared to the merely vaccinated…
I am growing tired of those jeopardizing everyone else, the unvaccinated. They will pay with a dark winter ur em ugh. Uh huh, yea, sure they will Biden. Thanks for being a uniter Joe. I can only imagine a speech one year from now from dufus, “I am growing tired of the deniers, those who love fossil fuels, those responsible for causing the gas shortage- Maga Trump princes, those who want to incinerate our grandchildren, those who drive trucks with assault weapons hunting deer in Kevlar vests, shooting cockroaches snd prairie dogs, er, ugh, anyway…They will pay with no method of getting to work, no more shopping trips, no more beach fun. No more barbecues, no more anything. For those unwilling to be an electric stakeholder, you can just go away, er, ugh, ahh, anyways….Jill is wanting me to get on the plane, back to the beach, ur, agh, Scranton blue collar all the way baby, cmon…man..”
And I thought Democrats hated trickle down economics? This administration * is responsible for most Americans being able to only afford a trickle of gasoline in their tanks between paychecks. Their old muppet gum flapper says it’s Putin and Republicans fault gas is so high.
THINK, folks! Brandon’s handler, Barack Hussein Obama, the Great Divider, wanted a gradual increase in the cost of gasoline so people would buy more efficient cars. Of course, working through Biden, Joe managed to f—k it up, by causing the price of gas to skyrocket instead of incremental increases with his disastrous policies. Obama’s been whispering in the ear of a blithering idiot who put other morons into key cabinet positions that have their OWN agendas means the entire administration * is in disarray. Rudderless, leaderless and clueless…
“I don’t want to hear an more of these lies about reckless spending. “We’re changing peoples lives.” Joe Biden
Yes, you are Joe. By orchestrating the worst inflation rate in our lifetimes, decimating our savings, killing jobs and entrepreneurial enterprises, and destroying the lower and middle classes.

COVID-19 spread undetected in U.S., Europe earlier than believed, study shows, offering lessons for future outbreaks, including transmission of omicron variant.
Local COVID-19 transmission was underway in California, New York, Florida and Texas well before the first reported U.S. case in Washington state on Jan. 20, 2020, according to a study published in Nature, which indicates the virus spread much earlier and faster in the United States and Europe than previously thought.
The authors, an international team of infectious disease transmission experts, including Ira Longini, Ph.D., a biostatistics professor at the University of Florida College of Public Health and Health Professions and College of Medicine, conclude that the narrowness of the initial COVID-19 testing criteria, along with limited surveillance and testing availability, allowed the virus to circulate undetected for weeks. Community transmission was likely in several areas

What a coincidence!
This report was released the day before Father’s Day Weekend!
Now they tell us!!!
https://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/andr.13209
So the COVID vaccine DOES IN FACT affect the reproductive system and fertility!
But not to worry, right? it’s only for 3 months after vaccination, every 6 months…
So what’s that, half the time? Is that it?
No biggie right?
What Bullshit!
They should have determined this before they gave 3/4 of America these shots, not after…
It looks like the vaccine manufacturers were indemnified for very good, ( read, “bad”), reasons…
Happy Father’s Day…
At a certain point this stops being surprising.
What would really be surprising is if the jibber-jabbers would ever admit to being mistaken or even misled by their oligarchical overlords.
We all struggle with acknowledging when we’ve been mistaken, all the more so if we were vociferous in our error.
I am seeing more and more people coming to terms with the idea that the people they have exalted to leadership aren’t acting with our best interests at heart. And I think that the blatant fuckery these last few years has contributed to that tide.
Certain lifestyles are more resilient than others, and at the end of the day that’s the final metric. Not who’s pronouncements you memorize and repeat.
The SARS-CoV-2 Omicron variant is less likely to cause long COVID than the Delta variant, new research has found.
The analysis shows 4.4% of Omicron cases were long COVID, compared to 10.8% of Delta cases. However, the absolute number of people experiencing long COVID was in fact higher in the Omicron period. This was because of the vast number of people infected with Omicron from December 2021 to February 2022.
https://scitechdaily.com/omicron-variant-less-likely-to-cause-long-covid/
The blame is obviously upon the ultra magas. They are deplorable and bad, putting everyone at risk. Trans people don’t feel safe with them in their spaces even.
