A Feline Romeo, a Curious Doe, and One Unforgettable Kiss

“We sort of had a back and forth, like, should we turn over there and see what happens, and we were worried about scaring them away from each other, so we sort of really slowly drove over there,” Segura-Smith said. Instead, curiosity won out. They pulled over slowly, hoping not to frighten either animal away.

A curious greeting between two very different species became an unforgettable moment for photographer Jade Segura-Smith.
After the greeting, the two just continued companionably. The doe grazed on the lawn while the cat perched atop the wall, the two keeping each other company for several peaceful minutes. Segura-Smith even captured video of the pair calmly sharing the space after their gentle hello.

Romeo got his (or maybe her) kiss, Juliet seemed content with the soft exchange, and after their brief greeting the unlikely pair settled into the easy companionship of old friends.

That photo of them touching noses should be submitted. Or all three actually.
