We need the community’s help.
Despite a significant increase in traffic enforcement, up 300% since 2024, we are still seeing collisions in ourcity. In fact, while overall collisions have appeared to stabilize, injury collisions increased by 18% so far in 2026. Enforcement is only one part of the solution. Everyday driving behaviors play a critical role in keepingour streets safe.
Attached is a breakdown of total and injury collisions for 2025 and by day from January 1st to May 31st of 2026. As you will notice, Fridays are the most challenging.
We want to hear from you. Based on your experience, what do you think would help reduce collisions? Howcan we work together to improve driving habits in our community?
