Public Meeting on North Shore Restoration Project on July 8

Mendocino National Forest’s Upper Lake Ranger District invites community members to a public meeting on July 8, 2026 at the Robinson Rancheria in Nice, CA. The purpose of the meeting is to share updates on the progress of the North Shore Restoration Project, a 40,000-acre, post-fire recovery effort. Forest Service staff will be joined by their implementing partners including CAL FIRE, Tribal EcoRestoration Alliance, Clear Lake Environmental Research Center, and Patriot Restoration Ops.
The meeting will be held at Robinson Rancheria, 1545 CA-20, Nice, CA from 5-7 p.m. The agenda will include updates from the Forest Service, implementing partners, Q&A session and individual conversations at outreach tables.
