This summer, Sea Goat Farmstand & Folk School invites audiences to experience one of the world’s most beloved plays in a unique local setting. Directed by Savanna Padilla, Romeo & Juliet will be performed outdoors at the Sea Goat Farmstand stage, blending the timeless beauty of Shakespeare’s classic tragedy with the charm and atmosphere of an urban farm setting.
Presented in a traditional Renaissance style, the production features a cast of local and visiting performers, bringing together artists from across the region and beyond. Set beneath the open sky, the performance offers audiences an opportunity to enjoy live theater in a relaxed and welcoming outdoor environment- bring your lawn chairs and dress in Humboldt summer layers! The farmstage setting provides a distinctive backdrop for Shakespeare’s tale of love, family conflict, and fate.
