Incarceration/Bail Status: O.R. Release
Charges/Arrested for:
• VC 23152(a) (Misdemeanor): Driving under the influence of alcohol.
• VC 23152(b) (Misdemeanor): Driving with a blood alcohol concentration of 0.08% or higher.
• VC 12500(a) (Misdemeanor): Driving without a valid driver’s license.
The driver was the only occupant. He was barefoot when he climbed out of the truck and up the bramble covered hillside. Once back on the road, he was recognized by someone passing by and they gave him a ride to the trailer park about a 1/4 mile away.
2 Cal Fire trucks and the STAR ambulance arrived and set up cones. Once they realized he was no longer there, they packed up and went to the trailer park to see if he needed medical assistance.
CHP went directly to the trailer park, lights and siren on. Clyde’s Towing showed up. After around 3 hours they were headed back to Fortuna.
The truck was not registered to the driver, so he won’t be getting that back.
Sharpie, thank you for listing what the driver arrested for. He is just lucky that he did not injure or kill someone while driving intoxicated. I think he qualifies as a total jack***.
