Blooming Smiles Community Play Day and Children’s Dental Care May 15th at Jefferson Community Center

Join First 5 Humboldt, Open Door, and Smile Humboldt Friday May 15th from 8AM-12:30PM for a fun, child-focused dental event for families w/ kids 0-6 – RAIN OR SHINE!

Open Door will provide wellness dental assessments for kids 0-6 and assessments required for TK/Kindergarteners. Dental assessments start at 8 am. Community Play Day starts at 10 am with face painting, dancers, the PlayHouse Wonder Wagon, and more to entertain the family. Families can enjoy interactive health education activities from 10AM-12:00PM. They’re giving out free dental supplies, dental-themed books, and you can get a picture with the fabulous Tooth Fairy! Dental van accepts Medi-Cal, private insurance, and will serve children without current coverage. Dental services available in English and Spanish. No appointment required, but pre-registration is recommended to reduce wait time.
