The following scheduled roadwork has been verified at the time of release. Please keep in mind work is weather permitting and subject to change. Del Norte County

  • U.S. 101 (0/3.8) – Utility work is scheduled between the Humboldt County line and Klamath Beach Road. Lane and shoulder closures are scheduled weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C101XC
  • U.S. 101 (12.2/13.8) – Emergency work is scheduled between Wilson Creek Bluff and Rudisill Road. One-way traffic control will be in effect weekdays from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C101DD
  • U.S. 101 (35.8/36.5) – The Dr. Fine Bridge Replacement Project is scheduled in the Smith River area weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Travelers should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C101WA
  • U.S. 101 (39.6/40) – Potholing work is scheduled between Rowdy Creek Bridge 1-23 and Haight Avenue on Monday, Jan. 12, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C101HE
  • Route 197 (4.5) – Utility work near Ruby Van Deventer County Park from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect and travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C197AA
  • U.S. 101 (39.6/40) – Potholing work is scheduled between Rowdy Creek Bridge 1-23 and Haight Avenue on Monday, Jan. 12, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C101HE

Humboldt County

  • Route 36 (4.1/4.6) – Construction upgrades near Carlotta are scheduled to continue. Expect 15-minute delays weekdays. LC#C36IA
  • Route 36 (15.7/16.3) – Slide response west of Grizzly Creek Redwoods State Park will continue. One-way traffic control will continue with delays of up to 15 minutes. Check Caltrans District 1 on social media for updates. LC#T36HA
  • Route 36 (19.6) – Emergency work west of Maple Grove will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Travelers should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C36JA
  • Route 36 (34.5) – Bridge work at Butte Creek Bridge 4-116 has scheduled one-way traffic control. Expect 5-minute delays. LC#C36UA
  • Route 96 (3.2/16.3) – Utility work at various locations from north of Willow Creek to north of Hoopa will begin on Monday, January 5. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C96BA
  • Route 96 (13.9/16.3) – Utility work is scheduled at multiple locations in the Copper Bluff Mine area. One-way traffic control will be in effect weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Travelers should expect 10-minute delays. LC#C96BA
  • Route 96 (39) – Pothole work is scheduled near the Karuk Tribe Department of Natural Resources on Tuesday, Jan. 13, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C96EA
  • U.S. 101 (53.8/54.4) – Drainage cleaning is scheduled near the Eel River Bridge. Lane closures are scheduled weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Travelers should expect 15-minute delays. LC#C101YC
  • U.S. 101 (74.6/75.4) – Nighttime traffic signal work is scheduled between Sunset Avenue and the Elk River Bridge on Thursday night, Jan. 8, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Lane closures will be in effect. Travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C101CC
  • U.S. 101 (82.7) – Work is scheduled north of Eureka near the Indianola Cutoff. Access to southbound 101 from Indianola Cutoff remains closed. Use an alternate route and expect minor traffic slowdowns. LC#C101FD
  • U.S. 101 (114.5/116.9) – Sign work is scheduled between the Dry Lagoon area and Old State Highway. Lane closures will be in effect weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. LC#C101GE
  • U.S. 101 (126.1/129.0) – Utility work is scheduled between Boyes Creek Bridge 4-286 and the Newton B. Drury Scenic Parkway. Lane closures will be in effect weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C101XC
  • Route 169 (25.8/30.2) – Utility work at Coon Creek Bridge 4-219 and Martins Ferry will begin on Monday, January 5. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 pm. Expect delays of up to 15 minutes. LC#C169CA
  • Route 254 (18.8) – Slide removal work is ongoing just north of Weott. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Motorists should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C254AA
  • Route 255 (0.1/0.9) – Utility work is scheduled between 3rd Street and Middle Channel Bridge 4-229 during overnight closures (8 p.m. to 7 a.m.). One-way traffic control will be in effect. Travelers should expect delays of up to 10 minutes. LC#C255CA
  • Route 255 (0.5/1.4) – Utility work is scheduled between the Eureka Channel Bridge 4-230 area and Samoa Channel Bridge 4-228, including daytime work (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and overnight work (7 p.m. to 7 a.m.). One-way traffic control will be in effect. Travelers should expect delays of up to 10 minutes. LC#C255CA
  • Route 283 (0.11/0.32) – Utility work is scheduled at the Eagle Prairie Bridge in Rio Dell on Friday, Jan. 9, and Saturday, Jan. 10, from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. One-way traffic control will be in effect. Travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#P283AA
  • Route 299 (22.5/24.6) – Utility work is scheduled between Redwood Creek Bridge 4-11 and Chezem Road on Friday, Jan. 9, from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Lane closures will be in effect. Travelers should expect 10-minute delays. LC#P299BA
  • Route 299 (24.9/25.9) – Geotechnical work is scheduled east of Chezem Road. One-way traffic control will be in effect weekdays from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Travelers should expect 5-minute delays. LC#C299GA

Lake County

  • Route 20 (4.7/5.5) – Utility work will occur west of Upper Lake from Saratoga Springs Road to Witter Springs Road on Friday, January 9. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P20DA
  • Route 29 (34.7) – Road work in Kelseyville at Live Oak Drive will occur on Friday, January 16. Lane closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns in the area. LC#C29EA
  • Route 29 (40.1) – Road work will occur in Lakeport at Jct Route 175 on Friday, January 16. Lane closures will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C29EA
  • Route 29 (46.3/46.5) – Utility work will occur in Lakeport south of the Hill Road Undercrossing 14-71 on Tuesday, January 13. Lane closures will be in effect from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns in the area. LC#P29BA

Mendocino County

  • Route 1 (19.3/19.6) – Tree work will occur south of Manchester from Mountain View Road to Stoneboro Road on Thursday, January 15. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C1DA
  • Route 1 (43.3/44.2) – Road work in Albion at Spring Grove Road will occur on Thursday, January 15. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1IB
  • Route 1 (51.4/51.9) – Road work will occur in Mendocino from Lansing Street to Road 500D on Friday, January 9. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1VA
  • Route 1 (60.2/62.6) – Utility work in Fort Bragg at various locations from the Noyo River Bridge 10-176 to Pudding Creek Road continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect and motorists should anticipate up to 5-minute delays. LC#C1PA
  • Route 1 (61/61.1) – Culvert work in Fort Bragg from Hazel Street to Maple Street will begin on Monday, January 5. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C1PB
  • Route 1 (75.9/76.2) – Emergency work south of Westport from the Blues Beach Trailhead to the Overlook will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 30-minute delays. LC#C1TA
  • Route 1 (78.1/78.4) – Emergency work in Westport at Wages Creek Road continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C1BB
  • Route 1 (104.1/105.5) – Emergency work in Leggett from Jct Route 271 to the South Fork Eel River Bridge 10-149 continues. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#T1EA
  • U.S. 101 (4.9/5.1) – Emergency work from the Frog Woman Rock State Historic Landmark to the Comminsky Station Road Viaduct 10-289 continues. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101VA
  • U.S. 101 (26.1) – Utility work will occur in Ukiah south of the North State Street Undercrossing on Friday, January 9. Southbound lane closures will be in effect from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#P101IA
  • U.S. 101 (27.7/37) – Utility work at various locations from north of the Lake Mendocino Drive Undercrossing 10-201 to south of Ridgewood Ranch Road continues. Lane closures will be in effect and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101KE
  • U.S. 101 (39.5/40) – Emergency work south of Mariposa Creek Road continues. Lane closures will be in effect and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101GA
  • U.S. 101 (41.3/43.7) – Construction work from the Cal Fire Howard Forest Station to Jct Route 20 will begin on Tuesday, January 6. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101DA
  • U.S. 101 (50.8/51.5) – Road work near Schow Road continues. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101GA
  • U.S. 101 (55.4/57) – Road work from north of Big Trails Drive to north of Shimmins Ridge Road will begin on Monday, January 12. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect minor slowdowns in the area. LC#C101BC
  • U.S. 101 (61.9/64.4) – Road work from north of the Irvine Lodge Rest Area to north of the Long Valley Creek Bridge 10-98 will occur on Thursday, January 15. Lane closures will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. and motorists should expect minor slowdowns. LC#C101BC
  • U.S. 101 (72.1/72.7) – Emergency work north of Laytonville at Woodruff Drive continues. Lane closures will be in effect and motorists should anticipate up to 15-minute delays. LC#T101GA
  • U.S. 101 (86.5/87.5) – Emergency work south of Leggett. Lane closures will be in effect and motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#T101GA
  • Route 128 (46.8/47.3) – Culvert work east of Pomo Tierra Ranch Road will continue. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate up to 10-minute delays. LC#C128BA
  • Route 162 (7.9/8.4) – Bridge work at the Eel River Bridge 10-236 continues. Lane closures will be in effect and motorists should expect up to 10-minute delays. LC#C162HA
  • Route 162 (12.3/17.6) – Road work from east of Division Creek to east of Hosea Creek will begin on Wednesday, January 14. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C162EA
  • Route 162 (21.1/21.2) – Road work will occur near Sand Bank Creek on Friday, January 9. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#C162NA
  • Route 271 (6.8/7.1) – Utility work will occur in Leggett near the Caltrans Maintenance Station on Friday, January 9. One-way traffic control will be in effect from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Motorists should expect up to 5-minute delays. LC#P271BA
