[UPDATED at 4:14 p.m.] Humboldt County Road Conditions for January 4

The following Humboldt County roads are flooded:

  • Pine Hill Road at the intersection of Elk River Road and the Elk River Slough bridge
  • Cannibal Road (Cannibal Island) at the intersection of Cock Robin Island Road and to the beach
  • Camp Weott Road
  • Ambrosini Lane
  • Vance Avenue between Highway 255 and Cookhouse Road.
  • Mad River Road two miles northwest of Miller Lane (Tye City)

The following Humboldt County roads are closed:

  • Jackson Ranch Road .40 miles north of Samoa Boulevard
  • Lanphere Road at mile marker 2.30, near the intersection Seidel Road
  • Hookton Road and Eel River Drive
  • King Salmon Avenue
  • Halibut Street
  • Perch Street
  • Crab Street
  • Sole Street
  • Herring Street
  • Cod Street
  • Buhne Drive
  • Meridian Road at mile marker .5 to .9
  • Coffee Creek Road at mile marker 1.00 to 1.25

Humboldt County residents are encouraged to sign up to receive text and email alerts regarding county road conditions, including upcoming projects, road closures and chain requirements. Residents can sign up at HumboldtGov.org/RoadsUpdates

Community members are encouraged to visit Quickmap.dot.ca.gov to check for Caltrans road updates and visit HumboldtGov.org/Roads for updates on county road conditions.
