Dang they’re lucky. I’m glad it wasn’t worse.
Kym, do you know anything about yesterday’s injury collision at 2nd & E in Eureka yesterday?
No, I think I missed it during the fire in Arcata.
I can’t imagine. Thanks.
I was so distracted that the wind took one of my favorite hats and I didn’t even notice until later. At least I can make another hat.
This accident is so bad in so many ways.
The person that had the seizure will now loose there driving privileges
The person that was hurt will probably sue
And the poor person that had the seizure will have to live with hurting there friend.
My prayers are with them both
Suing an insurance company to receive compensation is par for the course and not malicious at all as you seem to imply.
When you have a seizure, you normally lose the ability to control your body movements. I am very happy that the accident did not give them more serious injuries. Hitting a wall at 30 miles per hour hopefully was lessened by airbag deployment. I wish both of them the very best and hope they heal quickly.
Don’t forget the crumple zone; it’s why the engine didn’t end up in anyone’s lap.
If the vehicle is front wheel drive, the engine, transaxle, etc., can all end up in your lap. Crumple zones are a nice safety feature.
