EmeraldZ Gifts and Games

A new business in Rio Dell will cut the grand opening ribbon Sat., July 5 at 1 p.m.  EmeraldZ Humboldt County Gift Shop and Games, located at 210 Wildwood Ave., is owned by Rio Dell couple Aundrea Vaughn and Glen Harbour.  It combines a shop offering unique, locally-made and Humboldt-themed gift items with a game room space to offer people a place to meet and have fun.  A range of both board and video games are on offer, along with information on local points of interest and area businesses to inform travelers who visit the store about what the local area provides.  Owners plan store hours to be 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays during the summer.

That sounds like a creative idea, and I love that it encourages people coming together to play, talk, and think!
