[Update: Cpt. Ben Miller Interview] Single-Wide Mobile Home Fire on Humboldt Hill

Humboldt Bay Fire was dispatched to the report of a structure fire on Humboldt Hill around 12:20 p.m. today.
According to scanner traffic, a caller reported that his neighbor’s trailer was on fire in the Spruce Point Mobile Home Park. Dispatch relayed that flames were seen from the rom a kitchen window of the single-wide trailer.
No occupants are believed to be inside the structure.
Upon arriving on scene, firefighters relayed that light smoke was showing. They assumed command of what they have now dubbed as the Humboldt Hill Incident. The incident commander relayed that firefighters are implementing an offensive attack of the structure fire.

Update 1:04 p.m.: Our reporter Ryan Hutson is at the scene where the personnel from Humboldt Bay Fire have extinguished the fire.
