A new political billboard with a pro-Israel message has been installed along southbound U.S. Highway 101 in Arcata, replacing a previous sign that was destroyed earlier this month. The original billboard, which read “Call me a Zionist. It only makes me prouder,” was vandalized overnight between February 7 and 8.
The new billboard reads:
“Israel
The Eternal Jewish Nation.
Fighting terrorism. Seeking peace.”
According to the news release obtained by the Mad River Union, submitted by activist and co-creator of the original billboard, Tamar Krigel, the new sign was installed by a group called Code Blue and White. The organization, which was not previously known to the public, did not comment on how long the new billboard would remain in place.
The original sign generated strong reactions on social media, with both support and opposition expressed. However, according to Krigel, it also prompted inflammatory rhetoric and explicit calls for vandalism on online platforms. Discussions on Reddit’s r/Humboldt forum included posts titled “Zionists Must Go” and “What the Actual Hell.” Some users advocated for destruction of the billboard through cutting, burning, or even the use of Molotov cocktails. Others made violent threats against Zionists.
In response, Krigel stated that reports have been filed with local law enforcement, the California Civil Rights Division, the FBI, and the U.S. Department of Justice, all of which are now investigating.
The installation of the new billboard marks the latest chapter in rising local tensions amid the ongoing Israel-Gaza war.

Just curious as to what “The Eternal Jewish Nation” thinks about trump’s idea to turn Gaza into “The Big Casino Boardwalk”
Old Testament Themed!
Right next to the Americerranean Sea!!
The modern state of Israel was created through a systematic campaign of terror and ethnic cleansing so removing all Palestinians from Gaza is consistent with principles of Zionism, especially religious Zionism.
better than a bunch of hostile terrorist shooting iranian rockets all day long at them
They think!…… ‘More, more MORE!!’ And, ‘Better to have a bunch of wealthy tourists than those pesky Palestinians anyway!’
i must say, i am pro isreal and hamas!! would it really be that bad if both sides got what they wanted and just finally stopped saying it and just killed each other off completely??
oh yeah! what would everyone be mad about then?? i can’t think of anything else!
The Palistinanias did get.what they wanted….self rule but it was not enough. They elected Hamas and have a saying from the river to the sea in a call to rid the world of Jewish people.
As a back story several Arab Muslim countries expelled the palistinans from thre nations because they were nothing but trouble and acts of terrism etc.
As an addition Trump was not saying expell them forever he said get them someplace temporarily until Gaza is rebuilt nice and they can move back.
“…and they can move back.”
Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah…
That’ll run the seasonal tourists outta town this summer.
City of Arcata should sue her for interfering with economic gain, harassment and creating an eyesore that distracts drivers.
That is an incredibly stupid idea. Free speech is a right.
But if it is only a liberal point of view, not a conservative point of view, then it will be destroyed by the liberals. After all, their point of view is all that is allowed.
It’s the best thing for Arcata.
As Israeli tanks roll into the West Bank.
What does this Tamar Krigel hopes to accomplish with these billboards. Surely this is an issue that no one is being swayed about based on a picture they drive past.
Seems like it’s just designed to create strife and generate legal action. Ultimately a use of their private money that can only result in the expense of public money. Israel already gets a huge degree of physical, monetary, and technical support from the US government. What more does this person or group want? If their goal is to change minds in the american populace, there are much better ways than some weird bilboard in bfe.
Since you asked. I’ll answer.
First, I am curious if you read my full statement on the previous billboard that was published by Times-Standard and MRU?
Second, it’s not my private money.
Third, it’s my way to exercise free speech. It’s a proactive voice to spark a conversation. It is not intended to educate or change someone’s mind, but it exposes the hate, hostility and ignorance that folks already have about Zionism, Israel and Jews.
I suggest you and everyone else to take the time and the have the integrity to learn more nuanced understanding of this complicated region. Current rhetoric tends to clump and generalise opinions, which is what leads to radicalism and hate.
I suggest you care more about the community you live in, that you are offending with your PERSONAL campaign that does nothing to help your cause and has IN FACT alienated just about everyone with your rude insistence on shoving your opinions in our faces. You lack any care at all for the environment or your neighbors with your adolescent need to be seen and heard. You are selfish, spoiled, rude and your compassion seems to come with conditions. Please take it down. Enough.
Wow! You seem to know all about me. I’m impressed!!!!
How is killing Palestinians over the last several decades seeking peace? I’m seriously asking here. I have family there in Israel, and about 20 years ago I asked my aunt what was the deal with the Palestinians. She jokingly said, well they throw rocks at us and we shoot them, ha ha. My cousin works for the Israeli military, and was part of the whole exploding pager and cell phone thing, which killed way more innocent people than militants. Boeing is manufacturing GBU-39 precision guided bombs in their Bay Area facility, which Israel is using to drop on Gaza. How is any of that seeking peace? Another serious question, why can’t Palestinians and Israeli’s coexist and not kill each other?
I however live in America and I genuinely seek peace. I wish we could all be peaceful. I hate the fact that so much money goes to war worldwide! I wish that married gay, straight, and gender fluid married couples could guard their federally legal weed farms with fully automatic AR-15’s, but I guess that’s probably a ways off too.
dead hamas dont shoot rockets
Off google: Since 2005, Hamas and other terrorist groups in Gaza have launched over 20,000 rockets and mortars at Israel
Now do the amount of bombs and missiles Israel has shot at Gaza
From the liver to the knee, too?
Tamar says:
”It’s a proactive voice to spark a conversation.”
Glad to hear you’re so open minded!
Present day Israel was created through military conquest and a deliberate campaign of terror and ethnic cleansing — given those incontrovertible facts, if Israel is truly seeking peace, what is your solution to acknowledging and redressing the legitimate rights of the Palestinians to return of their land and property or just compensation?
Tamar and the Israeli government ‘spark peace’ the same way the ‘spark a conversation’, by dropping a BIG offensive ‘F-U bomb’ on the community it will hurt the most!
Spark…. spark….. spark….. BOOM!!!!
“Incontrovertible facts”
* anti-Jewish propaganda.
Fixed it for you.
Maybe that billboard should be in Gaza then. Many Americans care not about that little country thousands of miles away across an ocean. Many Americans only care about the absurd amount of our tax dollars that are used to prop up that failed state. I only ask what country you are loyal to? You can only choose one.
Looks like your free speech is offending bigots. Good job! Some folx pretend to be open minded but get upset when anyone dare voice an opinion they don’t share. Fuck those folx.
Hope there is security in place so that when one (or more) of those folx predictably comes to vandalize the billboard they can face appropriate consequences.
Tamar, thanks for piping up. Please consider that your personal pride in being a Zionist has nothing, by nothing I mean nothing,to do with the crimes committed by the Israeli government, as charged by international authorities, and paid for by American taxpayers. Whether you choose to recognize the definition of genocide, or just rejoice in Trump’s vision of the mere ethnic cleansing of Gaza, your pride in the acts of Zionists is offensive to people of conscience. It is shameful. I look forward to this repulsive propaganda of yours following the last one into the muck.
Emotional nonsense. Sorry you’re so easily offended.
Tamar Krigel, you are promoting violent processes of settler colonialism rooted in white supremacy such as genocide, ethnic cleansing and land grab. Those processes are not new. It has been an ongoing process for 500 years on this continent. There is no « nuanced opinion » when it comes to settler colonialism and its violent processes. You are not exercising free speech, you erected a 41 000$ white supremacist fee speech. Yes this is rooted in white supremacy. Settler colonialism is deeply embedded in white supremacy. What you are promoting is a blue print of « the manifest destiny » ideology promoted in the time of US western expansionism and violent colonial processes that nearly erased the Indigenous population of this continent. We don’t want this violent settler colonial propaganda in our community. Gaza has been obliterated by the Zionist war machin for 15 months. Mostly paid by the US. We have seen the horrors everyday on our screens for 15 months straight. We will complain about your unethical billboard until it is down.
I’m sorry, I don’t speak woke. Can you translate that into English?
This man is blaming his lack of reading comprehension on “woke”
What a time to be alive
Sorry, “settler colonialism rooted in white supremacy such as genocide, ethnic cleansing and land grab” is a statement that makes no sense to me. It’s not even grammatically correct.
It takes years of brainwashing … er “education” to be able to comprehend a phrase like that.
Holy cow. No matter one’s opinions on this never-ending conflict, you don’t know much about who Jews are. Claiming this is white supremacy, while being ignorant of the fact many Jews are anything but white. Someone commented on your BS by saying they “don’t speak woke”, which was spot on. You are so impressed with yourself it’s sickening.
this is so true. if you shave them of culturally styled hair and beards, put in “regular” clothes, hell if they were naked, you couldn’t tell a muslim from a jew.
Since 2005, Hamas and other terrorist groups in Gaza have launched over 20,000 rockets and mortars at Israel.
I did read your previous statement.
I find your continued conflation of “Zionism, Israel and Jews.” disingenuous and incredibly unhelpful, except to those who seek to shield their political or nationalistic ambitions behind a protective layer of anti-racism.
Jews are a religious group that comprises several ethnicities. They are not a monolith, genetically, culturally, politically, or even religiously.
Israel is a modern nation-state, it does not deserve any special protection from criticism of it’s foreign policy that we wouldn’t extend to any other country. Just like the American philosophy of “manifest destiny” does not excuse or shield the behaviors that the nation state engaged in in pursuit of that transcontinental goal, so the Israeli ideal of metaphysical entitlement to a piece of the earth does not shield or excuse their behaviors from criticism. Criticizing the modern state of Israel for the way that it engages with the world around it (which has resulted in an astonishing number of explicit violations of international and human rights laws) is not criticizing Jews or Jewishness.
Zionism is a politico-religious philosophy. It’s entire premise is built on a self referential claim to divine authority over a specific part of the earth. Not even all Israelis are Zionists, let alone all Jews. Although the most powerful aspects of Israeli government are ardent zionists. Zionism deserves no special protection from criticism compared to any other political philosophy. Criticizing the tenets of zionism or the behavior of zionists is not an act of hostility towards Israeli’s or Jews.
If you want to start a nuanced conversation about a complex topic that is fraught with generational strife and bundled political, religious, and historical trauma, then you need to lead by example. The only purpose served by conflating those three groups is to shut down nuanced criticism of two of them. The only thing that these political billboards expose, from my opinion, is the arrogance and detachment from the real critiques of the group that put them up.
I have no problem with you all choosing to spend your resources this way, and you’re absolutely right that it is a legally protected exercise of your right to express yourself freely. And also I am not surprised that it stirred up latent hostility, I am not sympathetic to your efforts to claim victimhood, and I am not impressed by your colorful attempt to deflect criticism of your political and nationalistic objectives by attaching them to racism. When you conflate your politics, nationality, and ethnicity, you lose a valid claim to crying that other people do to. From my perspective, zionists like your group, are callously smearing the reputation of Jews and Israelis so that you do not have to address criticisms of your political ideology, objectives, and tactics.
I have a major problem with her nationalism. It’s being done in the wrong country. You want to be nationalist? Ok. Be nationalist in the country you are said nationalist for. What the hell is an Israeli nationalist doing putting up signs in America? That pisses me off, she should go back to Israel then. I think she is being purposefully combative by that sign. Maybe there are a whole lot of reasons that sign could anger other people, but for me, an American Nationalist who bleeds red, white, and blue, take her sign and herself and go put them both in Israel where they belong. Tamar will probably say she is American, but I will only ask, and I think that this question has increasing relevance by the day, what kind of “American” are you?
I agree with you, the government of Israel does not deserve any protection. I personally criticize, at times, my own government but the sovereignty of the Jewish state is important regardless of the government it is under. When we went into Iraq to dispose of the “chemical weapons” that Hussein supposedly housed, not everyone agreed with this policy. We, as American citizens, had a right to protest that. This is a fundamental and democratic value. Still, we did not oppose the existence of the USA and did not conflate that with our military’s actions in Iraq. The same thing goes for many other foreign policy incidents.
Anti-semitism is the world’s oldest form of bigotry. It started well over 3,000 years ago. In the first instance of recorded history, the Hebrews became slaves in Ancient Egypt and were forced to work for the Pharaoh. There, the Hebrews were referred to for the first time in history as a “people” by the same pharaoh under which the ten plagues came to Ancient Egypt. The religious aspect of our story as the Nation of Israel (Am Israel) came when Moses liberated his people from the Ancient Egyptian occupation and eventually received the biggest gift from Jews to humanity, the 10 commandments. Ruth is the great-grandmother of King David who followed her mother-in-law. She said, “My people, your people.” And “your religion, my religion”. This is irrefutable and it displays that we are not just a people but one with religion.
Eventually, upon our displacement, we assimilated and had an experience in countries all over the globe. We have many different types of Jewish people. In today’s world, Israel is the nation-state of the Jewish people and is for all the Jews in the world, including secular and religious and all their sons. We all have come back to our homeland under the rising of Zion (Jerusalem). We have kept our traditions, our prayers, our language and so much more. Jews will ALWAYS be connected to Israel and no amount of shoving that away can diminish the indisputable truth.
Please do not use the victimhood card because I would never self-victimize. I feel proud to tell the story of the Jewish people and the story of my father as a Holocaust survivor. To come out of periods of deep trauma and see light in the world is one of the most incredible things ever. Lately, weaponizing anti-semitism and downplaying it has become a trend. The world, in my life, has not been divided by oppressors and oppressed and aggressors and the victims but by all humans who are woven together to better this planet and bring light to the world.
I did not vandalize any campus with anti-semitic graffiti, I did not shatter windows, shut down a campus for a so-called “cause” that will not in any way benefit Palestinians nor change the conflict. I did not interfere with other people at the farmer’s market or create a rally that promoted hate. I did not burden every city meeting with a massive amount of public comment that is only about one cause. Cities like Oakland that are burdened with ALL sorts of problems such as firing teachers, decreasing their police force and are making financial decisions that are solely based on identity politics and an ideology rather than economic strategic-based systems.
This hate and anti-semitism will come at a cost to the average American citizen in the long term.
Your preferred religious texts are not historical documents.
The Torah is not near the oldest writing on earth.
And the Egyptian sources do not confirm any special Israelite slavery or single out jews for any special persecution.
You claim you do not “self victimize” but the myth of your people that you have just shared is one framed entirely around ahistorical claims of victim hood. This is the problem with your conflating of jews, Israelis, and zionists. The state of Israel is actively and explicitly seeking to erase the existence of Palestine and yet your personal myth creates a perspective where criticism of that is part of a millenia old attack on your people.
The voices calling for the elimination or destruction of the state of Israel are fringe voices and a meaninglessly small minority. Meanwhile, the Israeli state and it’s zionist leadership has the support of the majority of the world’s military and political powers in pursuit of its active effort to physically, culturally, and historically erase the Palestinian state. They have such abundant support that they are not deterred in their effort even by charges of violation of international law by the major international bodies.
The fact that you close out your comment with a strange threat towards all Americans is so disturbingly on brand for the way the state of Israel treats is largest benefactor. This is the behavior that is turning American public opinion against the Israeli project. And a self important billboard isn’t helping.
The last comment is not a threat in any way. It’s a way of saying hatred corrodes any heart that contains it.
That may be how you choose to interpret it.
I wonder if she has the same concern for her beloved Israelis? Surely the active participation in the annihilation of a people and theft of their homeland can’t be good for the heart.
I have no problem with the state of Israel existing, even without believing in their myth of metaphysical superiority, but I do get tired of a nation that was created by the contemporary global hegemon and who has survived in its state by virtue of continuous support by the reigning global super powers constantly whining about how everyone wants to destroy them.
Israel is an extremely expensive colony for the military super powers of the Transatlantic anglosphere, and they have worked diligently to ensure that more and more of the global population resents them. They are not victims. They are among the most entitled nations on earth. Like a rich kid who constantly complains about self induced struggles despite always being bailed out by the prodigious family wealth, they just get tiresome.
Very well said!
Tamar has very articulately and hypocritically recounted central themes of the creation myth of the “nation state of the Jewish people” while ignoring the plain truth that the modern state of Israel was created by armed conquest and a calculated campaign of terror and ethnic cleansing which displaced about 750,000 Palestinians.
As a result of the Six Day War in 1967 (a preemptive strike by Israel) which brought the West Bank, Gaza, the Sinai and the Golan Heights under Israeli control, another 300,000 Palestinians fled their homes.
Palestinians who still have keys to their family’s home are forbidden to enter Israel and denied compensation, but millions of Jews with no connection to Israel are welcomed “home” — with many of them living in the homes of the displaced Palestinians.
Israel’s refusal to recognize the rights of the displaced Palestinians and the ongoing military/apartheid rule of the West Bank is at the heart of the ongoing conflict — unless Israel addresses the historic and ongoing injustices inflicted on the Palestinians there will be little chance for peace.
The constant gaslighting from Israel’s most ardent defenders is the best argument against supporting Israel as a matter of foreign policy. Their proponents act like an abusive partner, not an ally.
There are plenty of legitimate and sound defenses of Israel and of the special relationship they have with western military powers, but Israeli supporters never seem willing to make them because they require some accountability on the part of israel and some real commitments to change their behavior going forward and to acknowledge that their super natural claim to the land is not the only claim to the land and does not automatically supersede all other claims.
Unfortunately, Israel has moved steadily away from any semblance of accountability — it’s telling that Netanyahu has blocked formation of a commission of inquiry to examine the failures of the political echelon that led up to 10/7.
Netanyahu’s proudest achievement has been derailing any moves towards a two state solution — according to a story in Yedioth Ahronoth in 2014 he scuttled a Saudi Arabian proposal to rebuild Gaza (after the 2014 war) oust Hamas and normalize relations because it would have put the PA in power in both Gaza and the West Bank — supporting Hamas in Gaza has been critical to Netanyahu’s strategy of keeping the Palestinians divided — scuttling the 2014 Saudi proposal led to the Netanyahu approved transfer of millions of dollars monthly from Qatar to Gaza, a key element in supporting Hamas’ arms and infrastructure buildup.
After blocking any hostage agreement for over a year Netanyahu finally agreed but only after pressure from Trump — but now that Trump has given Netanyahu a green light to do whatever he wants — Netanyahu is blocking phase 2 of the ceasefire agreement which will likely mean death for the remaining hostages.
“Truth be Told,” you keep using that word. “Truth.” I don’t think it means what you think it means.
Since ya’ll claim that piece of land by bloodright, and feel entitled to my tax dollars in order to claim that piece of land, and prop up your entire country, I think every Jew should have to submit a genetics test. We do that here for the native Americans who wish to claim land and benefits, I believe it’s high time that happens for the Jews claiming Israel too. Also, Israel is about as much of a nation state as Canada or the EU, more like a US colony.
Very well said.
“Second, it’s not my private money.”
Okay, where does the money come from, then?
It was crowd sourced by locals here in Humboldt County.
Tamar. That YOU post this provocative message, that can only cause more division, especially next to Humboldt’s most progressive and outwardly pro-Palestinian community is an offense!
If YOU want to ‘educate’ people have some meetings, build bridges. But instead you hang this EGO TRIP message with your image on it, a slap in the face to our community, county and country (without whom Israel would not exist).
[edit]
So being pro-Palestinian is ok but being in support of Israel is not?
There is no pro palestinian community in Humboldt. but there is a bunch of agitators, some probably paid, to rile up the students and the misguided into a new cause. it’s really quite pathetic.
I heard Israel is accepting volunteers to fight hamas, Maybe you should go help..
Tamar, I pray that you and those like you will get what you truly deserve. I pray that the suffering you and those like you have inflicted upon this world will be returned to you tenfold.
Thanks for doing this Tamar. Jews and allies here in Humboldt County apprechiate the representation. There is more support for Israel here than people realize, mostly because of the violent extremist protestors and vandals trying to silence us. Billboards like this make it feel a little safer to speak out in favor of equality and freedom.
Would you be happy with a big rainbow flag and men in dresses on a billboard?
I don’t like billboards in general. Especially not the ones that mar that stretch of road.
If it was an attractively composed image then I guess I would like it a little more than the latest advertisement for a fight at bear river or some classic rock cover band at blue lake.
I don’t really have a problem with this particular billboard either. Like I said, I just don’t understand what this group hopes to achieve with it. And following the reply from their spokesperson I think that either they are lying to us or to themselves about what they think this billboard will achieve.
Like this guy?
[Edit]
If you think Israel is acting like Nazi Germany, look up Babi Yar and show me where Israel has done anything like what happened there. And then there’s the gas chambers at Auschwitz. Anything like that in Israel?
Are they following the Nazi playbook to a tee?
No.
Are they annexing neighboring areas and either killing, driving out, confining the original inhabitants to camps and ghettos, all in the name of lebensraum?
Absolutely.
Stop calling Jews NAZIs. They are not. They are defending their land. Jews are indigenous people too.
I never said anything about Jews.
And I never called anyone a Nazi.
But Israel is not defending its land.
They are invading neighboring countries.
And by doing so, they are preventing the peace that they claim to want.
Yes yes YES!
Our ally Israel has the right to defend itself. Hamas is still playing games with the peace process while hostages suffer.
Yeah there just following orders
You have once again demonstrated your lack of reading comprehension.
Seriously. Learn to fucking read.
Content is your problem. You are reading the wrong things. You are reading lies. Your mind is fixed by one opinion. Your mind is not open.
You’re right, the conspiracy theory pages on Facebook and Breitbart tell the real truth.
You demonstrate every single day that you are incapable of making a factually accurate comment.
Stay away from personal remarks. Speak about ideas.
Stick to ideas. Keep away from personal remarks.
They’ve been chased out of so many countries over centuries of time because they are evil. Palestine is not their land.
Wow, don’t sugar coat it, just say straight out that you’re antisemitic.
Kym, this comment flagrantly violates your site rules against attacking underprivileged/minority groups.
They don’t need to build a Babi Yar. They bulldoze homes with babies in them, and bulldoze peaceful protesters who stand in their way. Rest in power, Rachel Corrie.
The SS murdered more than 30,000 Jews over two days in a ravine outside of Kiev. To save ammunition they lined up the victims so they could shoot two in the head with one shot. This is Babi Yar. God forbid anyone would build another.
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Babi_Yar
I’m not sure that calling for criminal action is allowed on this website.
I wondered about that too. Maybe Kym will weigh in.
Kym, do you condone calls for criminal action aimed at stifling free speech?
Nope. Edited now though instead of deleting because there are so many responses.
Hitler himself was Jewish
Holy crap you are ignorant.
Hitler was a zionist psyop. Just like Hamas. They create their “enemies” so that they can play perpetual victims. Biggest scammers to ever exist on this planet.
The holocaust was real, a lot of the facts have been muddled and misrepresented though. The holocaust being all about the Jews, and the Jews being the biggest victims of the holocaust is wrong and a lie, so I don’t understand why the Jews are the only ones who get to use it as an excuse to do whatever they want.
Thanks to you, and to BirdsEye, for showing us what kind of thinking underlies the anti-Zionist sentiment here in Humboldt County.
Conspiracy theories and libel against the Jewish people have formed the basis for Jew-hatred since Wilhelm Marr coined the term “antisemitism” in 1879 – and opposition to “Zionism” (the latest, politically correct euphemism for the Jewish people) is just another iteration of the same, tired excuses to hate other human beings who have never and will never pose a threat to anyone, just because they are different.
It’s a matter of free speech. If this group wants to put up a sign, it’s nobody’s business but their own. Remember when the sign at the LGBTQ church was vandalized? The lefties were all about making that a huge deal and rightly so. So, why, when a group with a different view puts up a sign were the lefties who were so pissed about their sign being damaged so willing to destroy this sign? Why the outrage that this freedom of speech is being practiced when you were so upset your freedom of speech was violated. If you don’t like it, don’t look at it. If you don’t like a movie, don’t watch. It’s idiotic this is even being noticed as news.
I like the new billboard much more than the old one which was worded improperly. The new billboard message is fine. ” Israel The Eternal Jewish Nation. Fighting Terrorism. Seeking Peace.” I stand with the Jewish people and hopefully one day there will be Peace. Killing one another solves nothing but making more hate. We have enough hate in our world now!
How ’bout hiring security to hide and catch the people who will tear this down? Lear might be available. Give them a call
Or a few volunteers to catch the cowards in action.
Take down all the billboards along the bay.
I give it until Saturday
My vote was mainly for your name ?
Just take away all the roadside billboards. We don’t need them anymore.
For some reason I remember and am compelled to offer President Reagan’s immortal words:
“Mr Gorbachev, TEAR THIS WALL DOWN, AGAIN!” (I’m pretty sure he said “again”, right?).
The sign is silly. And childish. And incitfulif you feel so strong about Isreal , then why are you here? How is calling children combatants seeking peace? Arrogant and immature. You just want to start a fuss.
And the FBI are investigating? Somehow that isn’t surprising. I turned in a serial killer to them, they failed to investigate, but they are investigating that stupid sign. Wow
Who leases the billboard to her? Religious people are weird to me.
How about spend 40 grand on a tiny house and get a homeless person off the streets, paint whatever ignorant crap on the side of it that u like
A beautiful and honest billboard. I respect Israel and support our ally’s right to self-defense. Now do the leftists here respect the First Amendment?
Turns out, they don’t.
Way she goes bubs
That sign should say “jews: the eternal victims” ?
CODE BLUE AND WHITE in San Mateo, CA | Company Info & Reviews
Israel’s IDF and Netanyahu have destroyed Gaza and its people by bombing them mercilessly. They have murdered thousands upon thousands of children. They now have nothing left. Israel needs to be sanctioned against genocide. The US taxpayer has been supporting Israel for far too long.
What are your thoughts on the billions and billions of dollars Biden and Obama sent directly to Hamas?
ALERT!! The Israeli Genocide of Palestinians Continues: In Gaza through Israeli refusal to allow shelter and aid in accordance with the Ceasefire conditions–Palestinian children are freezing to death. The Genocide has spread to The Occupied West Bank where 45,000 Palestinians have been Ethnically Cleansed, told that they cannot return home. Israel has invaded and claimed part of Lebanon and also Syria.
To Hell with Nuance! The International Court of Justice and the International World Court both agree that War Crimes amounting to Genocide have been carried out by Israel and its leaders. Don’t let the Israeli Counter-Intelligence Project (Hebrew acronym, Hasbara) deflect us from seeking accountability for this historic crime through instead associating anti-Zionist, anti-Israeli criticism with petty vandalism. Who paid for this hasbara billboard?

“Shocking Gallup survey finds 60% of Dems are anti-Israel — first time ever for major US political party”

Why support religious radicals like Isreal? This country has freedom of speech, but we also have freedom of religion and that extends to Palestine. Not just isreal.. I think your billboard does more damage to your cause. And your coming across like a edgy teenager.
I expressed no personal opinion.
I just reported the news about a recent poll that is relevant to this discussion.
Islam is legal in Israel. Not only is Judaism illegal in Gaza, so is the “wrong” kind of Islam. When you oppose Israel in the name of “freedom of religion,” I don’t think you’re supporting the cause you think you’re supporting.
Quit polluting our gorgeous scenery with your signs and move to your homeland. Put your money where your mouth is.
You double-standard is showing. If Palestinians can move to the United States and use “activism” to try and turn the tide of the conflict in their favor, so can Jewish people.
*Your double standard (couldn’t edit the comment to correct my spelling.)
I went to palestine and saw with my own eyes the truth of what Israel puts the palestineans through everyday. If they aren’t throwing innocent palestineans into prison (the real hostages) or harassing them in the midst of the night or having them wait in check points for hours they are killing them little by little… and the wall, UGLY. Isreal portrays such a different view of themselves thru their propaganda, I’m so sick of it, enough is enough. Your just another evil isreali Tamar
Woah. Hey. Easy now ‘David.’ What are you wearing? Because you are looking at getting the pants sued off of you if you keep talking like that. If this were Germany, you’d probably be facing jail time if the state tracked and found you. Keep pushing it, there are laws being passed every month to shut your type down. There is no place for anti-semitism in America.
You must be poor and broke to be speaking the truth like that otherwise you’d know you are risking having your bank accounts drained by lawsuits, at best. There are plenty of other effective ways to get the pants off of you and keeping your words free of independent thought, especially if you are a somebody. Would you care for a free ride on the Lolita Express, David? Judging by your post, you seem to be into kids if you love those ones in so-called palestine so much. Those ones are kind of ‘occupied’ right now, but there is no shortage of ones from Ukraine that we can supply for you to express your love for. We can even make a movie about it. We’ll edit it and screen the finished product to you just prior to you boarding your flight from St. James back to Miami.
Take care. Oh, and don’t forget, we can see you right now through all the cameras you are surrounded by……..on laptops, teslas, flock cameras, smart phones, ring cameras. You’re a star. David is a star everyone.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts on your visit to Palestine.
Israel is an Apartheid Jewish-supremacist state where all Jewish Israeli citizens benefit from religious privilege and all Arabs/Palestinians are second-class citizens or totally disenfranchised/locked up in the concentration that is Gaza. It does appear that Tamar is a staunch Zionist. Further I will say she is either a paid hasbara operative, or a very enthusiastic amateur.
So many hasbara trolls–I’m sure some are from out of the area–are active trying to intimidate us back into supporting the Zionist narrative. But 18 months of live-streamed Genocide cannot be unseen. People all over the world: from mass demonstrations in the streets, to student protests on campuses; from the majority of nations in the UN General Assembly to the majority of the members of the UN Security Council; from the ICC to the ICJ, have made the determination that the state of Israeli and its political leaders are engaging in War Crimes against and Genocide of Palestinians.
The majority of people in Humboldt County agree and we want this U.S.-Israeli Axis of Genocide to honor the Ceasefire.
If by “second-class citizens,” you mean that Israeli Arabs are regularly elected to the Knesset (that’s the Israeli government, by the way), serve shoulder-to-shoulder with their Jewish brothers and sisters defending Israeli civilians against daily incursions from foreign enemies in the IDF (that’s the Israeli army, by the way), and enjoy the same rights to speak their minds, assemble peacefully (and sometimes, not so peacefully), love who they love, receive social welfare, and own businesses as every other Israeli citizen, then I would have to agree with you.
By the way, Zionist “trolls” here in Humboldt have been physically attacked, shouted down, and had our private property vandalized repeatedly so… who are we saying is intimidating who, exactly?
And just because an army of anti-Jewish trolls (most of whom actually are from out-of-state – “whatever they accuse you of”, and so forth) floods into every online conversation to shout down everyone who disagrees with them – ie, just because they are loud – doesn’t mean they represent the majority view in Humboldt county. They don’t. So don’t let them gaslight you.
During your visit to “Palestine” (by which I have to assume you mean “Israel,”) did you get a look at the wall between Egypt and Gaza? You know… the one (two, actually) that are twice as high and three times as thick as the “wall” (more of a fence, really) between Israel and Gaza?
Yet I’m still listening for your harsh condemnation of Egypt’s attempt to hold the Palestinian people in an “open air prison.”
