Construction Begins on Alderpoint Road Tomorrow

This is a press release from the County of Humboldt Department of Public Works – Land Use Division:

Construction will begin on Tuesday, February 18th, on Alderpoint Road from the CDF Station to Wallan Road.

Traffic through the construction site will be restricted to a single lane-controlled traffic.

Construction is expected to be completed by October 2025.

Expect delays of up to 15 minutes at any time during this period.

The 15-minute delays won’t bother me at all. The construction works sometimes reach a point where they need a little more time to finish a phase. It will all be worth the effort to have a decent road again.
