Pickup Overturns off Highway 101 Near Benbow

After a crash this morning at about 9:34, a Ford Ranger ended up on its roof off the roadway near a large turnout just south of Benbow on Highway 101.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene, but fortunately, the California Highway Patrol reports no one was injured, and fire and medical units were canceled.

At 9:45 a.m., a tow truck was requested to recover the vehicle, which was described as easily accessible about 50 feet from the roadway. The owners of the truck were coordinating with Browns and Redwood tow companies for estimates.

Traffic was unaffected, and no lane closures were reported.
