“Humboldt County’s DA declined to prosecute 27 of the 39 people arrested during Pro-Palestinian protests at Cal Poly Humboldt.”
It’s obvious all 35 arrested on the last day were trespassing and resisting so it’ll be interesting to learn the DA’s rationale for not prosecuting.
Interesting your post would get a downvote. Everybody saw the video of the protestors being warned multiple times to disperse, everybody saw more than 1 warning and the police setting up. Yet the protestors defied the lawful order. Pretty obvious that they did as charged. Sure go and downvote me also. Truth hurts.
No doubt UPD botched the initial response at every turn but that doesn’t justify the violent resistance and property destruction by the so-called protestors.
There should also be a separate charge for the morons who converted a peaceful demonstration into a destructive and violent building occupation.
Glad to see the fireworks injured child returned home. Now, what about the charges against those responsible, medical bills, etc.?
