[UPDATE 5:42 p.m.] [Extrication] Roll-Over Collision Near Harrison and Dolbeer
First responders are en route to the 2700 block of Dolbeer in Eureka just before 4 p.m. on June 21.
According to scanner traffic, a two-vehicle collision has occurred resulting in at least one vehicle rolling over and the report of injuries.
Humboldt Bay Fire and City Ambulance are on scene reporting one vehicle is on its side.
Please remember that this story is unfolding. Information is being reported as we gather it. However, some of the information coming from witnesses and initial official reports could be wrong. We will do our best to get the facts but, in the case that something is inaccurate, we will update with correct information as soon as we can.
Update 3:57 p.m.: The incident commander stated that there is one vehicle and one patient involved. They have updated the incident to an extrication and have requested the jaws of life.
Southbound traffic is shut down at Buhne and Harrison.
Requesting CHP.
Update 4:08 p.m.: Scanner traffic indicates the extrication is complete.

Wow! The speed limit is only 25 MPH there. So much carnage for what should have been a low speed crash.
I drive faster than everyone around me to demonstrate that I am a better driver than them.
70 mph is usually flow of traffic on that stretch.
Maybe because cars are so lightweight now. You would never see a 1969 El Dorado upside down going under 80 mph, we’ll probably.
You people in Humboldt have got to be some of the worst, most impatient, reckless, inconsiderate drivers I have ever experienced.
I have never seen more people be so afraid to sit at a red light and actually have to think about something for a second. It’s like thinking hurts your brain so you just run the red light with no regard to the fact someone may be crossing the road etc etc.
You people cut each other off left and right and drive like we’re all in a competition to steal a dollar from each other rather than drive like we are all brothers and sisters here to help each other.
Nope. Gotta hurry up and get home with your McDonalds for your overweight kids and smoke that weed and rot your brain watching propaganda that is television programming.
You speed like a bat out of hell down 25mph streets only to sit at the same red light as I do.
No self awareness whatsoever and it’s all about you. Then people start chopping their body parts off in order to try and be something they weren’t born as and in the name of , “love”, we call them brave instead of mentally ill. Now because “love”, we have poor excuses for men, walking into bar rooms to get laid because no decent woman wants them and we have drunk morbidly obese women opening their legs to these men the first night they meet them and then they get pregnant

I mean yes, a man can be beautiful undoubtedly, but typically we call men handsome and women beautiful.
This beautiful angel refused to submit to God Almighty. This beautiful angel thought it could do a much better job than God does.

So God took a step back and let this beautiful angel run the show and look at what this beautiful angel has done with the world……

I hope the injuries are not too bad. I think it would have been cheaper to just buy a car with a sunroof. Thank you as always first responders. I thought all of our Humboldt Bay Fire Engines carried at least one jaws of life. Seconds count in some accidents. I would like to see a Go Fund Me set up for money to equip our great firefighters with more needed jaws of life. I guess painting on bridges and buildings is more important.
