The powers that be blame fires like this on climate change but the reason the fires get out of control is that the budgets for fire control and forest management for fires aren’t sexy enough to get funding.
$2 billion is a lot of money to fund cal fire.
Ukraine conflict is +/- $100 billion more sexy. That is because it is our priority as a nation. California is a fire climate. And turds are cooking fuel in SF.
The fire(s) sound like they are giving the firefighters a run for their money. I sure hope they get a handle on this fire before it explodes into a much larger one. Hope no homes or other structures are lost or the power lines on the ridge top. I am extremely proud of all the men and women firefighters that are doing their level best to put this fire out. It is a hot and dangerous job and they put their lives on the line to kill it.Hero’s one and all!
Couple of very good pilots
