Bail Set at $750K for Briceland Man Charged with the Sexual Assault of a Minor Under 10

Sebastion Hockett

Sebastion Hockett

Twenty-eight year old Sebastion Hockett of Briceland, has been arraigned on charges of  sexual assault of a minor under 10 years old, sexual assault of an unconscious victim, and the sexual exploitation of a child. The assault charges were allegedly perpetuated on December 6, 2020, while the exploitation charge was alleged to have occurred on December 31, 2020.

A public defender was appointed to represent Hockett at the arraignment on Monday, April 3. Though Hockett was booked with a no bail status, according to reporter John Chiv, Judge Steven Steward set Hockett’s bail at $750,000 at the arraignment. A bail hearing is set for April 5 and the preliminary hearing is scheduled for April 13.

Hockett was arrested at his Briceland residence on March 30 and a search warrant was served. In an interview on April 3, the Humboldt County Sheriff’s Office public information specialist, Samantha Karges, stated that additional charges are likely to be filed as deputies continue to investigate this matter. Karges also said there may be additional victims that they are unaware of at this time. Individuals with any information regarding potential additional victims or related criminal activity should contact HCSO Detective Danielle Vickman at [email protected] or call (707) 445-7251, reference case number 202201804.

According to an HCSO press release, the arrest of Hockett was the result of a year-long investigation. Karges explained that investigating internet crimes can be time consuming as investigators work to identify if the victim is “a confirmed live victim”, the identity of the victim, who published the material, and ultimately, who was involved in the sexual assault of the victim.

Karges stated, “Deputies acted as quickly as they could. …[The] investigation took a year in order to make sure we had enough information, enough evidence, and were able to identify everyone involved.”

Jail is the safest place he could be. I’d be surprised if he wanted out.

Not exactly. I’ve seen jailhouse justice. Details would require a warning label. A jail sentence is a joke compared to the punishment this man took. Pretty sure the CO’s were half in on it too, whole pod knew he was coming, and the sound of thumping in the locked cell went on for a while. PC maybe, but GP is the last place he wants to be. This while our elected officials, favorite celebrities, business leaders, and top scientists get off scot-free.. Remember what Kubrick said.

“Pedophiles run the world”

He was long fascinated by secret societies. I’ve never seen Eyes Wide Shut but Barry Lydon is currently free on YouTube and may be the most visually stunning film I’ve ever seen.

I don’t know what a Koananon is and theories do not interest me. I can feel your angst and anger and have only compassion for that internal battle. I know it well. We are all One. That’s not a belief— that’s wisdom. Derelict and deranged world leaders included, “they know not what they do”

The tao that can be told
is not the eternal Tao
The name that can be named
is not the eternal Name.

The Master leads
by emptying people’s minds
and filling their cores,
by weakening their ambition
and toughening their resolve.
She helps people lose everything
they know, everything they desire,
and creates confusion
in those who think that they know.

It’s not proof, but Biden’s sniffing habit sure is creepy, weird, and raises my suspicions.

In her diary, his daughter wrote of avoiding the shower because Creepy Joe liked to join her. Is that normal?

I suppose if you’ll abide Epstein Clinton and Gates were just jet-setting philanthropy, the. govern (control) ment (mind) is going just fine.

My interest is strictly in the individual, not the ideas and institutional manifestations of masses who’ve no control of their own mind.

The default to Trump and Taylor for truth is telling..

The summer fires have been mostly due to Pge’s failing infrastructure. It’s like profit science.

Sounds like you are repeating what Qanon and Marjory Taylor Green just said in the 60 minute interview, of course all with no proof to back it up, You need to jump out of the rabbit you you went down,I know how conspieracy theorist are, there is no reasoning with them, so now scientist are in on it also?

Not quite so. Jailbirds hate child molesters and often kill them.

Even though there are people in jail who are (known to be) innocent for what they have been incarcerated, there is no respect for ‘innocent until proven guilty’? People become vigilante types upon hearing things like this. Does anyone still consider that, while it sounds like this guy may be guilty, he has not even had his day in court yet.

There is no way this guy is innocent, after a year of investigation if the victims were unconscious they wouldn’t of known. This guy obviously did something with the videos he took , only way he would of been caught.
