[Update] Two Patients Require Medical Treatment After Driver Struck Pedestrian with Vehicle, Pedestrian Bit Driver

Pedestrian HitAn ambulance has been requested code three (lights and siren) to the cross of Rohnerville Road and Diana Drive on the Hydesville side of Wolverton Gulch this evening just after 6 p.m., November 9. Scanner traffic is indicating that a pedestrian has been hit by a vehicle and needs medical attention. Traffic control and CHP have also been requested.

The CHP Traffic Incident page states that a female pedestrian was struck by a green Ford Excursion driven by a male subject. After the accident, the a pedestrian is reported to have bit a “chunk of meat” from the driver’s arm, according to the dispatcher. Both now require medical treatment.

Update 6:28 p.m.: Medical personnel on scene are treating the pedestrian, a pregnant female struck by the vehicle’s mirror.

Update 7:16 p.m.: The accident has been listed as a minor injury.

According to the CHP Traffic Incident page, that there was a third party involved: a male pedestrian that bit the driver after the pregnant female pedestrian was struck.

Just hope that the pregnant female that was hit by the vehicle is going to be fine. Not sure who was at fault it but it sure could have been a fatal accident. The pedestrian that bit the driver must have been a vampire or related to the female victim. Biting a chunk of meat out of the driver’s arm makes me think he was in the twilight zone.
